🔥 27th UFBU STRIKE — STAND FIRM 🔥
🤝 Conciliation failed
❌ No agreement
✊ Resolve intact
No assurance. No postponement.
Only implementation of Five-Day Banking — or the struggle continues.

@Agrinfo101 @PSBPunch You are too dumb to tell you your mistake, corporates can stop unions thus they can't strike and what PSB bankers demand is everyone's demand, no just one person, and if all other financial institutions open for 5 day why bankers are being criticised.
English

Being inefficient, slow, hiring incompetent people, having wrong working attitude, and system design will always lead to overtime.
This should not come as an excuse.
It further communicates how incompetent whole public banking system is.
Why do we not see HDFC, ICICI and other private bankers doing strike. You all need to be privately owned to work efficiently.
English

It is #easy to call for #punishment when you only see the closed shutter of a #bank.
It is much harder to #acknowledge the #banker inside who stays until 9:00 PM to tally #accounts, handles thousands of #customers daily with limited #staff, and is denied a basic two-day weekend that the rest of the corporate world takes for granted.

@ArunNambiar @0DeepakSingh @shantaadmi @PSBPunch He's definitely the most incompetent and inefficient worker of his thus using Twitter while.on work!
English

@0DeepakSingh @shantaadmi @PSBPunch Ohh jackass, I am still logged in and working out. Nothing big u r doing. Didn't u knew it was 6 day working week before joining
English

@ArunNambiar @PSBPunch Say that to employees who suffer with staff shortages, constant scrutiny, accountability and competitive market, and compare that to how.much profit PSBs make, you'll be shut up.on your own
English

@PSBPunch Most private sector employees stays not just till 9 pm but even till 1am or 3am also. Every job has its own hardships. While bankers don't get all Saturday offs they get more than 25 bank holidays than any other sectors yet they crib about getting 2 more holidays a month.
English

@seomaniaa @PSBPunch What have you achieved my man to have that much decency to accuse the most profitable PSU in India ??? Dumb people, unaware of everything! There's a difference between hustle and hard work buddy!

Why should Bankers suffer endless work pressure while others enjoy their weekends?
For the Government, Saturday is a policy-approved holiday; for bankers, it’s a compulsory sacrifice — apparently equality ends where banking begins.

A better banking experience starts with a sustainable workweek. With acute staff shortages and mounting stress, 5-day banking is about public service and employee well-being, not a privilege.
UFBU has been pressing since 2015; IBA has already recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024) records the Saturday holiday clause, pending approvals/clearances.
Honour what’s on record. Approve all Saturdays off.

@aiboc_in @ChiefIba @FinMinIndia @DFS_India @PMOIndia Government needs to understand that public servants need as much attention as public is been given!! Tax payers fighting for even smallest of their rights is a shame on economy

A rested workforce serves the public better. With staff shortages and rising stress, 5-day banking is a service-quality issue, not a “perk.” UFBU has pursued this since 2015; IBA has recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and it’s included in the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024), pending clearances.
Let’s finish what’s already agreed.

@aiboc_in @ChiefIba @FinMinIndia @DFS_India @PMOIndia Embracing a 5-day banking week allows staff to invest in skill development during weekends. Stronger banks, stronger economy! #Implement5DayBanking

A shorter banking week means reduced commuting stress, promoting overall well-being for employees in the financial sector. #Implement5DayBanking x.com/aiboc_in/statu…

A 12-year-old Hindu girl was raped and murdered in Bangladesh today. Yesterday, a Hindu widow was gang-raped, and publicly humiliated. The same day, three more Hindu men were killed.
Seems like , India’s extremely tough move of sacking Mustafizur Rahman from the IPL hasn’t quite terrified the Bangladeshi govt into cracking down on radicals or protecting minorities. Perhaps we need to escalate further, summon their ambassador and make him wait an entire hour. That should surely do it.

The US attacked Venezuela, captured President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, took them out of the country, and will install a puppet govt, without anyone in the world being able to stop it.
The world respects power, not restraint, except when it is backed by power. Among the weak, restraint is romanticised to mask incapacity; among the powerful, it is selectively praised to pacify the weak, so they see their limitations as virtue and make peace with them instead of striving to overcome them.
