The accident occurred around 3 PM on the busy SV Road near Saayba Hotel, when a dumper truck allegedly knocked her down and fled the scene. Eyewitnesses said the victim lay critically injured with severe head trauma as onlookers gathered, and traffic quickly piled up towards Lucky Restaurant. Despite showing signs of life for a few minutes after the impact, she succumbed to her injuries before help could arrive, prompting an ongoing search by Bandra Police for the absconding driver.
