@levelsio Even “high end” consumer level like Nordstrom. Made in the same factories as Amazon stuff which is way cheaper, more convenient, better selection, etc.
Ofc, there is no “guaranteed” quality filter on Amazon like a Nordstrom buyer might give you, so you gotta be the filter.

The internet spreads information much faster than pre-internet so people figure out faster that luxury products are pretty much all a scam with 95% of the cost spend on manipulative marketing and store fronts
Their status appeal is gone too as you see low status people buy most luxury products now
So luxury products become an anti-signal

This setup has absolutely everything I dislike:
- displayed product boxes
- 4 screens, 2 setups (that's 3 screens and 1 setup too many)
- fake plants
- ikea countertop with alex drawers
- poorly positioned speakers
- pegboard that should only ever be used in a workshop
- random shelves all over the wall, again filled with apple boxes lmao
And on the topic of monitors, no one ever needs an ultrawide monitor, or a completely unusable TV above it

idk how two parents with standard in person 9-5 jobs have elementary aged kids because every three weeks there is some award ceremony, parade, or presentation at school that is from 9:30-9:45 am. and in the month of may, it's once a week, and don't forget the random half days.

most blog images are too slop, too manual, or too boring
so I built this automation after trying everything else.
5-step pipeline. a clean, automated blog image every time.
the trick: don't let the image model render text.
generate a random seed and have gemini paint the background with a consistent style, then programmatically overlay the headline with your brand fonts.

Going all in on simple at home training.
Current set up includes:

Inspired to incorporate a lot more calisthenics & flow work. @CalisthenicKyle @moveorperish got me fired up watching them last few months
Been a gym bro for years. Powerlifting & bodybuilding for many years. Been transitioning out of that into a more functional approach last few years
Leaving the gym is forcing me to take the full leap into simplistic training

After OpenClaw 5.18 causing me massive frustration and hours of lost time doing bug fixing, this is very appealing.

finally made the switch to hermes. i literally just said to codex "set up hermes. completely switch everything over from openclaw, keeping everything in tact. bind to the same discord server." and it ran for like 5 min and just worked. no debugging. i'm going to get ai psychosis from just being in constant awe at this stuff every single day. nothing feels real anymore.

They're so frustrating. Was using it yesterday and it took 10 minutes to read 5 markdown files and make some simple edits. So tried to turn on fast most and got hit with an error that I don't have extra usage enabled. Feels like they just slowed down regular mode and if you want it to work like before, you gotta go outside your sub.

i was under the impression that turning on @AnthropicAI usage credits would then let you use *up to* your monthly spend limit in the event you hit session/weekly limits.
but apparently it has nothing to do with your monthly spend limit?
(this $100 is from me using /fast a few times yesterday, not realizing it's billed outside of my max 20x sub, though they may have mentioned that somewhere and i just missed it.)

I wouldn't want to see what that 4K would be with 15 years of inflation.
Its a unique period where renting is cheaper than owning. Landlords won't subsidize renters forever.

People really underestimate how much their costs drop when there is no mortgage. $20K a month sounds like you need $6M. Well if the house is paid off your burn is closer to $14K lands you at $4.2M without mortgage.
