@beewol Lack of a decentralized system of development, development in Uganda has been limited to kampala and a few sorrounding districts and that makes it a hot spot, every amenity is in Kampala. The same statement is the exact opposite about the United States

What is it exactly that makes a property in Kampala more expensive than a property in New York of the same size? That has totally confused me and I’m wondering in what world this is even possible. Our property market is strange, to say the least.

You have to admire Guinea junta leader Gen Mamadi Doumbouya’s humility. He’s playing it cool, winning presidential elections with a modest 87%. However, some Africa haters are mocking his victory, claiming it is the political equivalent of a participation trophy. Some are wondering if he honestly won the rank of General or bought it in a second-hand products market; how can he fall below 99%? That even Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu Hassan, who is not a former guerrilla or a soldier, recently easily cleared 98%, though to be fair, her “voter outreach” programme involved 3,000 fewer opposition protesters to worry about. The lady isn’t lazy with her maths. But being Afro-optimists, we think it is truly a Golden Age for the continent, and with Doumbouya’s steady, camouflaged hand on the wheel, the future is looking absolutely bulletproof.

The Uganda Flag deserves utmost respect: it must be saluted before it is hunged, it shouldn't be exposed to rain, left outside overnight, or displayed improperly. KCCA is differ from Parliament, only that KCCA focuses on Kampala while Parliament handles national issues. Nothing complicated about it.

I don’t know how many times I have to tell you this but I will repeat, one last time. Only central Uganda matters, otherwise Museveni would have fought and captured Mbarara or Busia. He only celebrated when he took Kampala, only then was the war really won. Revolutions are always modern, the bastille that was stormed in France was not in some village, it was in Paris. The arab spring was urban, the Sudanese revolution - Urban. Having Bobi wine in charge of Kampala, Mukono, Luweero, and Wakiso is dangerous and the NRM knows it. This is why there is a push to win Buganda back. 4 months before the end of the NRA war, Western Uganda was still a UPC stronghold. Win Buganda and you win Uganda, the villages always support Any government in Power. History has taught us that.
