Al Jazeera is state-owned mouthpiece of Qatar. In Qatar forget praying in public, Hindus aren’t even recognised as a “legal religion” under their law. Yet look how they are spreading lies to malign India’s image. That’s the power of paid PR 🙃

Brutal Death To Families' Compromise: 9 Months On, Turn In Nikki Bhati Case ndtv.com/india-news/gre…

₹39,000 crore privatised solid waste management contract for Bengaluru is actually a right idea. A city of 15-17 million needs industrial-scale solutions, not ward-level jugaad. The city is drowning in its own garbage and the continued fetish for decentralised, community-led, philosophically elegant waste solutions has run its course. It sounds beautiful in a TEDx talk. It has manifestly failed at scale. The scale of the problem is staggering. Bengaluru generates 5,200 tonnes of waste every single day. Only 1,800 tonnes gets scientifically processed. The rest ends up in landfills or dumped in the street corner. May be some of the Finance department's red flags deserve serious attention but overall objective is good given Bengaluru has been reduced to a garbage-strewn embarrassment that its own residents are ashamed of.

Former technical member of NCLAT Vijai Pratap Singh appears in person before the Supreme Court in a writ petition challenging the rule that bars him to practice before NCLAT Justice Joymalya Bagchi: We will welcome you to argue before the supreme court. Singh: But why this restriction? There can be cooling off period. Justice Bagchi: Think about independence of judiciary. You have been a member of the tribunal. It is a super special tribunal. Imagine you appear before another member who was working when you were there. What perception would it create in mind of ordinary litigant? Plea withdrawn

The #HRCE Department (#TVKVijay) has decided to implement an online ticket booking and time slot system, at major temples under its administration, including Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, Palani Dhandayuthapani Temple, Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, Srirangam Ranganathar Temple, Tiruttani Murugan Temple, and Tiruvannamalai Arunachaleswarar Temple, with the aim of reducing crowd congestion and streamlining darshan for devotees. This could help improve crowd management during peak days and festival seasons. It may also enhance safety and basic facilities, while making it easier for devotees travelling from other districts or states to plan their visits. While implementing the online booking and time slot system, I kindly request the department to also retain free walk in darshan, support for senior citizens, and limited online booking slots to ensure reduced crowding without making temple access difficult for devotees. @tnhrcedept @RameshOffcl

#WATCH | Delhi | Nandan Singh Negi, President of the Staff Welfare Association at the Delhi Gymkhana Club says, "Our case is pending before the High Court. We have complete faith in the High Court that our workers will receive justice. This is a matter concerning the livelihoods of at least 600 to 700 workers...Some have taken housing loans; how will they repay them? It was for these reasons that we approached the Honorable High Court, and we respect the Court's authority...We remain hopeful that the High Court will grant us due justice and dignity, and that our livelihoods will remain intact"

> After making LTCG from Nil to 12.5% > After making STCG from 15% to 20% > After making STT from 0.01 % to 0.05% > After removing indexation on debt funds and taxing at slab rate > After introducing tax on SGB in secondary market from Nil to 12.5% After making so many policy blunders, rupees depreciation and not caring about FII exit, it's so nice of Finance minister to say she is open for public feedback and suggestions. You never needed any public suggestion, it's your arrogance that has put economy in such a big mess. There is no rocket science in knowing that FII would anyday invest in safe US economy at 5% yields because to beat that 5% they've to earn atleast 12-15% in India if you consider rupees depreciation and tax.

Officially JDS joining Hands and merging with BJP. Smart move 💯 #JDS #BJP

It has become Thiru @mkstalin avl’s habit to complain about something that is not even remotely close to the Central Government's intentions. The CBSE in the secondary school curriculum (Part-1), released for the academic year 2026-27, states that three-language education shall be made compulsory from Grade 6 in the academic year 2026-27. And it is explicitly stated that two of these three languages must be native to India. To clarify the languages to be offered, it is mentioned that all scheduled languages listed in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution of India are being offered, in addition to other Indian regional languages. Where is the question of the imposition of Hindi in this? Last year, the CBSE placed particular emphasis on using the mother tongue or home language as the medium of instruction during the Foundational and Preparatory Stages of schooling. Thiru @mkstalin avl should check with his daughter, who runs a CBSE school, whether she has begun imparting education in Tamil as the medium of instruction to students in the foundational stage at her school. He could also simultaneously check with his Ministers and key DMK functionaries who run CBSE schools across Tamil Nadu. Thiru @mkstalin, one almost misses the days when your misguided narratives required at least some effort to unravel. Now, they seem to collapse under the lightest scrutiny.
