Before my generation even cared about Donald Trump politically, we were watching Thomas Massie and Ron Paul clips on YouTube, like this one from 2015, where Thomas Massie voted to force a debate on Obama sending troops to Iraq and Syria The reality is that they hate Massie because he has a longer track record of being more consistent and more America First than they are This also explains the generational divide on Massie, because younger generations have been able to track these votes with new media while everyone else was waiting to hear what Sean Hannity had to say about him

500 years of Sola Scriptura. Millions of people all claiming “the Bible alone” while disagreeing on baptism, salvation, the Eucharist, divorce, women pastors, homosexuality, church authority, worship, predestination, and even what the Gospel is. Because of the way my brain works this helps me to remove distractions and think more deeply about the mysteries. When distractions do come up, acknowledge them, put them aside, and continue.

@Xtopher_Uzo Lifelong Reformed Baptist converting to Catholicism here! I’m struggling with the Rosary. I can't seem to focus on the mysteries while saying the Hail Marys. My Protestant brain wants to just pray the mysteries, but then I’m protesting again lol! Does it just take practice?

@Xtopher_Uzo I had an interesting thought while praying the Luminous mysteries yesterday. When Mary asks Jesus to turn the water into wine at Cana, she knew what he was capable of. It made me think deeply about the miracles he had performed for her privately before his public ministry.
