@DPGSpurs @lex_node You’re saying he’s wrong about QC stuff, because he was wrong about ETHBTC PA? That’s not really a sound argument.

@lex_node Justin Drake is and has been a clown though. And he’s been irrevocably wrong on bitcoin and flipping for years now as he spearheaded the worst performing era in eth history. That’s a fact.

@bread_ @MikeIppolito_ They're getting trust minimized security which you don't get with alt-DA. That benefit is pretty clear and claiming that it's buried down 3 layers deep in tech doc that no one understands is disingenuous.

What are they getting though? That has always been my contention with blobs. The net-gain is buried 3 layers deep in a tech doc that no one understands for the privilege of higher fees and lower capacity. And then it's all downstream of larger issues like the multisigs over the bridge.

My best guess on how the L2 ecosystem plays out. 1. Ethereum raises rent on L2s via blob pricing 2. Vitalik begins to ratchet social pressure on interop 3. Struggling L2s that this isn't viable for leave 4. These L2s transition to becoming L1s, mostly fail 5. Remaining <3 L2s adapt their business model 6. "Red Hatization" aka, service providers to enterprises 7. Valuations reset, but last men standing do well 8. Organic demand returns to L1, Ethereum wins "onchain finance" borrow lend, money market uses

I'll be honest: I don't understand the hype around Claude Code and all those AIs in CLI It's SO much easier to have an interface (Cursor, Conductor...) to understand what's going on, to review the changes, etc

Short overview of what I’m personally doing on prediction markets right now: Polymarket (@Polymarket) Using it organically, mostly focusing on crypto bets where I think I can actually have an edge. Also looking to get into lping again. So far I’ve made around 1k USDC in liq rewards (streets saying that’s roughly 20k+ in $POLY) while keeping losses minimal and staying profitable overall. —————— Opinion (@opinionlabsxyz) I started using this again recently. Should launch soon and likely at pretty high FDVs. At first my strategy was just flipping locks for ~0.1% profits a lot. Now that vol is a bit lower again and the airdrop seems closer, I’ve started optimizing point gains more, mainly by lping lower liquidity markets. —————— predictdotfun (@predictdotfun) Still figuring things out here. Spent the last week lping a lot and waiting for the distro to see if that worked. Other than that I’ve also placed a few bets to push some vol. —————— Probable (@0xProbable) New PM I started farming, also on BNB chain, still pre points. Mainly just looking to push a lot of volume here, as this seems to be the main factor for pre season points. —————— All the others I have finished my activites for now.

Rewinding the past year and looking ahead to farming in 2026 The last year and a bit have been pretty insane. Early believers in on-chain perp trading got rewarded with life-changing money twice: first with Hyperliquid in late 2024, and now with Lighter in late 2025. Personally I also managed to get 6 fig drops on both of these. At the same time, the farming meta went through multiple phases. Until a few months ago, liquidity farms were extremely strong too. ENA loops, Plasma and even Eclipse and similar plays were offering crazy APRs. If you had a decent understanding of DeFi, pulling ~50% APR wasn’t crazy. That is mostly over for now. With tougher market conditions, those farms have largely dried up and looping strategies are dead. Even finding 15–20% APR today is significantly harder and often comes with a lot more risk. There’s a good chance this environment sticks around for a while. Because of that, it’s becoming very clear that activity-based farms are where the real edge is again. Right now, that mainly means perp DEXs and prediction markets. Of course, you should still keep a portion of your portfolio in chill liq farms for stability and baseline yield, but let’s go over the two main categories for outsized returns: ──────────────────────── PERPS There honestly isn’t much to overthink here. Farming perp DEXs early remains the play until proven otherwise. Yes, Lighter could’ve had a better launch, but it was more than good enough to keep the perp-farming meta alive. Post-Lighter, there are multiple solid options. I’ve been talking about the Hyperliquid → Lighter → @variational_io rotation for quite a while now, and I still believe it’s the best setup out there. ────── Why Variational (Varia)? 1) Huge coin selection They have a huge coin selection, you can short everything there, which is insanely bullish, especially in these current conditions. You can see this as an onchain (non shady) MEXC. 2) OLP OLP is giga printing and will become open to the public soon, probably point-gated, which, coming back to my earlier point, will give us a high APR yield farm, which is really hard to find right now. Another clean reason to farm points now and why I believe it's worth it even with increasing vol/OI. 3) Unique features Such as loss refunds and genuinely good referral rewards paid in USDC. One thing to improve: some features could get shipped faster by the team. That said, Varia still looks very well-positioned going into 2026. ────── Other viable options include Extended, tradexyz and Nado. I’ve farmed them decently before. They’re probably one tier below Varia but still can be worth farming. More generally, farming every halfway promising new perp DEX during its first weeks is highly +EV. That’s when points are easiest to earn and I have been doing this ever since Hyperliquid, for example on Ostium and Pacifia. You DO NOT have to long term farm a lot of these. Easiest way to farm remains just being delta neutral across two exchanges. ──────────────────────── PREDICTION MARKETS I’ve been saying this for months: this is the category to watch going into 2026. A Polymarket TGE next year feels increasingly likely, and it could easily end up being the biggest airdrop in crypto history. It’s unarguably the most recognized crypto product ever, skipping this would be a massive mistake. How do I think the airdrop will be structured? Volume alone probably won’t matter THAT much, since it can be spammed almost for free. Instead, the key factors, in my opinion, are likely ranked like this: 1) Providing liquidity (earning USDC rewards) 2) Holding time 3) Meaningful "organic" volume on different Markets Going into 2026, the plan is to keep improving all of these metrics while also using it organically. Lately I had great success with shorting all the crypto FDV markets. At the same time, the “perp-style” approach applies here too: get involved in every solid prediction market early. We already saw this play out once with Limitless on Base, which ended up being one of the best fee-to-reward ratios of the year. I have, or am looking to get, top ranks on: Opinion, Predictfun, and Limitless S2. And I’m closely watching every new launch. Just like with perps, early participation in prediction markets is massively +EV. ──────────────────────── ON CONTENT AND CRYPTO TWITTER Over the past year, I’ve started posting more frequently on X, and that’s only going to increase going forward, mainly about what I just mentioned above and anything else I find worthwhile to farm. CT quality has clearly deteriorated, largely due to InfoFi campaigns and the resulting wave of AI slop. I want to push back against that and bring back the old feeling of actually finding alpha on farming here on X. I’ve spent a huge amount of time on this over the past two years, all while still working a full-time job. Along the way, I’ve built a strong network of like-minded people. At this point, I’ve made enough money to genuinely feel like I have every chance to build the best possible life for myself, my family, my girlfriend, and my future children. That’s not something I take lightly, and I won’t let it slip. The plan is simple: keep going hard. Feel free to follow me on this journey! ──────────────────────── Thank you to all my on-chain friends and everyone who’s been supporting me. Lastly, I want to mention some great people in this space: @Biggie_xbt and @disco_trooper are my closest on-chain friends. Always down to talk about any farm on any given day and consistently providing valuable opinions. @YYehalawlaw is an incredibly funny and friendly guy who sometimes gets made a little fun of by us for typing before thinking, but who genuinely makes our Discord a much better place. @Vorioo makes money off everything: YouTube, reselling trading game cards, crypto. Always great to have people like him around. @polarthedegen shows a level of hunger and fire to make money that I have rarely seen in someone under the age of 18. @DannyT1502 for consistently sharing strong alpha on prediction markets. @XBTaiga is probably the smartest guy in our server, running strategies I wouldn’t even think about and being absolutely goated when it comes to optimizing every single liquidity farm. And lastly, @0xWelfare, for inspiring me to take farming more seriously two years ago through the kind of content I now aim to create myself, and for building the Welfare Warrior Discord where I met all of these people.❤️ Lots of other great people around too, if you already have some farming experience make sure to join us: discord.gg/rthS7gCzvh ──────────────────────── That’s it for now. HAPPY NEW YEAR. 🎉

Sold my @Lighter_xyz airdrop for ~144,000 USDC. I spent 4k on this, making it a 36x on the farming cost. This is my biggest airdrop as well as my biggest one-day gain ever. Hyperliquid's total gain was similar, but only after holding it for quite a while. So why did I sell? The simple answer is that I don't feel comfortable holding six figures in any altcoin right now, and this is a crazy amount of money for me. Personally, I would never buy spot for 6 figures here, which means I'm better off selling. I'm a farmer first and foremost, not a trader. However, I'm surprised that 1) it launched quite low, and 2) it's currently struggling to reach 3B. Based on OTC prices and pre-market prices, most people, myself included, thought this would perform a bit better. But who knows? It still might pump hugely in the upcoming hours and days. Personally, I don't have to risk it, though. I am very happy with my amount and will share some more detailed thoughts on the future of crypto and farming in 2026 soon. The grind does pay off. Talk soon.

So this worked surprisingly well! My stats for last week: Volume: ~1M Spread paid: 1.5-2k USDC PNL (after spread cost): +6K USDC Main plays were $stable & $linea shorts + a bunch of other alts. Held positions for about 2 full days. Confirmed: Holding low OI alts and taking spread/slippage gives nutty points. I value 1 point at about 10 USDC base case and 20+ bull case right now.

Currently trying something different by shorting a bunch of shitters... Feels good since OI seems to get rewareded nicely on @variational_io. I generally value their points highly, especially if Lighter launch goes smooth (I think it will). Personally have a little over 2k points from the "pre points" season and will see where I can end up!

1/3 I'm pretty happy with the recent @variational_io points distro. Started trading ~mid Oct and got ~4k pts total. My costs were fairly low thanks to refs and loss refunds. Thanks to everyone who used my ref, I appreciate it. Pts valuation talk in the next post of this thread.

3/3 Based on the above, we get the following points valuation sheet. I expect $10 per pt at minimum, as I prefer to be conservative. If team doesn't dilute early users with outsized weekly distros, $20-40 per pt could be the base case. We'll see tomorrow.

2/3 I'm assuming 30% airdrop allo (HL playbook amirite). Team said points won't last longer than Q3 26, so I assume end of Sept is the last distro. We have no info on weekly pts distro yet, so I currently use a range of values in my calc. We'll know more tomorrow.
