One thing I love about bad governance is that, it’s never selective. It affects everyone 💪🏾.
This NRM journalist who was knocked at the court yesterday was rushed to mulago referral hospital then mulago referral hospital also referred him to a private hospital.
Can u imagine a referral hospital referring you?!
He thought bad governance affects us only. 🤣

Somewhere, there’s a journalist allegedly connected to @dw_politics who not only fails to grasp the basic necessity of internet during elections and civic life but also vigorously defends internet shutdowns. Hmmmm.

World Bank and IMF 2026 Spring Meetings
The NUP Diaspora Team is participating in the World Bank and IMF 2026 Spring Meetings to advocate for the voices of the voiceless in Uganda.
We recognize the important role that global institutions can play in cultivating sustainable development, but we are concerned about Uganda’s current fiscal trajectory under the Museveni administration.
Uganda’s National Debt has surpassed Shs 130 trillion, with a debt-to-GDP ratio around 52%. This constrains investments in healthcare, agriculture, education, and job-creating projects.
A portion of borrowed funds is diverted through corruption by the Museveni regime to non-developmental expenditures, limiting resources available to ordinary Ugandans.
In addition to that, there are ongoing discussions
In parliament on a tax bill that will raise the tax burden of Ugandans to 40%, impacting household incomes without commensurate returns in public services.
We do not advocate for reduced investment in Uganda; rather, we call for responsible, transparent fiscal policies that prioritize the needs of the Ugandan people.
The NUP Diaspora stands with Ugandans in seeking accountable leadership, transparent budgeting, and policies that deliver tangible improvements in health, education, and livelihoods.

"We want the war in the Middle East to end now. The world is tired of it. But any talk of destroying or defeating Israel will bring us into the war. On the side of Israel!"
