Dems in Minnesota are now trying to tax unrealized gains. Instead of fixing the fraud problem in their state, they want to steal from hardworking Americans, yet again.

JUST IN: Minnesota Democrats just BLOCKED a bill banning boys from girls’ sports, 67-66 vote. Democrats are ANTI-WOMAN. They won’t protect girls, or even define what a woman is.

So, in the NBA Steve Kerr can falsely accuse the government agents of murder from the podium with no fines, suspensions nothing. But Jaden Ivey can't be pro Christian on the Chicago Bulls? Make it make sense.

While they were busy cutting SNAP and health care for working families, Pete Hegseth spent $2 million on King Crab, nearly $7 million on Lobster Tails, and nearly $100,000 on a Grand Piano in the month of September. This is where your taxpayer dollars are going. Isn’t this supposed to be the Administration that’s targeting “waste, fraud, and abuse”?!? Make it make sense.
Headquarters@HQNewsNow

New Pentagon budget reports show Pete Hegseth spent $93 billion in one month, making it the highest monthly expense since 2008. This budget report included spending $2 million on Alaskan King Crab.

For the last four years, agricultural input costs have skyrocketed: seeds, fertilizer, fuel, interest rates, and labor — every single one of them! We’ve successfully brought those costs down. 📉 At the same time, we’ve secured 24+ new global trade deals, opening fresh markets for American farmers. 🇺🇸🤝🌏 This is the proven formula: lower input costs + new export markets = lower prices for consumers AND a stronger, more prosperous agricultural economy! 💪🌾

WOW: The Walz Administration just said rioters are using Minnesota’s Paid Family Medical Leave program to take up to 12 weeks off of work, paid for by the taxpayers, after being tear-gassed. “The short answer to your question is yes… we have seen applications that have been tied to some of the violence we saw… That is one benefit of having this program.”

We came downstairs this morning and found our 8-year-old son, Jasper, watching the news about the men’s hockey team laughing with President Trump at the expense of all women. Tears streaming down his face, he looked up and asked, “They aren’t really accepting his invitation, are they? The men I once idolized aren’t really this evil, right?” We just held him close and told him misogyny won’t win…can’t win. We spent weeks building him a diorama that’s due today and now he won’t even be able to show it off because he’s too sick to go to school. Thanks, Trump.

The more this USA men’s hockey team discourse goes on the more I think about Megan Rapinoe and what an icon she was for saying “I’m not going to the fucking White House” the 2019 USWNT will always be legends to me. The soccer space will forever be more loving

We are moving our construction business that’s been in Moorhead for 40 years over to ND because of this policy. It was the last straw. Nice work MN leadership. Great job @GovTimWalz Can’t trust the govt will use our taxes properly at this point. Another sad observation in MN almost no private businesses are building, it’s only govt projects. Complete opposite situation in Fargo.

And sometimes the parents are assholes and the kid should have known better
Clint Fischer@clintwfischer

"Someday, all this will be yours…" A young man in Iowa heard that line for over a decade. Came back to the farm when his dad had a health scare. At the time, it was just for short-term help. He’d already started a solid career in ag retail after trade school because the farm wasn’t big enough to support two generations. But when he came back, he realized expansion could happen and his passion was the family farm. So he agreed to stick around. He worked his tail off. Took a job off the farm to make ends meet, married a local gal, built a life there. The farm grew. They dreamed of taking it over someday. But, "someday" was always just over the horizon. Every time they got close to talking about a real succession plan, his parents resisted. The goalposts kept moving. "If we get 80 more acres, then we’ll talk…" "If you can find a place to rent nearby, then we’ll talk…" "If you buy some land of your own, then we’ll talk…" "If we have a couple good years in a row, then we'll talk..." But the talk never happened. Eventually, with two kids and 10 years gone, they gave the owner generation a clear, respectful proposal for the future. And were shot down. Fast. So he made the hardest decision of his life... he left. Took a DSM job in ag retail and moved his young family to Minnesota. His heart’s still back on the family farm, but he finally put his family’s future ahead of a fading promise. Unfortunately, the relationship with his folks has soured. He told me this story, and asked me to share it, so others might hear it. For awareness, not to place blame. If you’re the next gen, don’t ignore the warning signs. If you’re the owner gen, don’t let pride or fear kill the legacy you worked to build. Succession only happens if someone’s willing to lead. And leadership means putting things in writing. Before it’s too late.
