JD is so much more intelligent and qualified than the other guys in that room. As you noted getting him to close this deal sets up the succession brilliantly. 1) It maintains his draw with the coalition from 2024. He remains quietly opposed to the adventurism and it is recognized. 2) It pitches him well to the boomers as they will view him as a victor.

If JD plays this right he might be getting his key to the presidency. He has been quietly against this war, more than Rubio and if he closes it off for a US win while staying out of the collateral damage done it might just work. Got to wonder if that’s by design to get him there too.

@Reformed_Trader It’s literally just Democrats, and a minority that support a cult, that want Iran to “win” a war. The majority of people, regardless of politics, don’t understand why US is in the war in the first place.

The prevailing sentiment isn’t just negative, it’s disturbing. Not to mention we’re only a month into this war. There seems to be a growing number of Americans communicating that they aren’t simply upset that we’re at war with Iran but also subtly rooting for Iran to stand up against the U.S. and win. It’s normal to disagree and get upset with policies, but to start hoping your own country isn’t successful because you disagree with certain policies should raise some alarm.
