@adad8m The Haber-Bosch process has fed more people than any invention in modern history
Literally half the nitrogen in human tissues on planet earth comes from this reaction.

@chapterthrive @RichardBethell @conorsvan1 @JesseBrown Why were the news websites not paying Google for the traffic sent to themselves?

@catacalypto I wish there was a way I could just buy all of these. I'll never have time to play them all but this content is incredible

@dieworkwear Just ordered some shoes from no man walks alone, thanks!

There are some great menswear sales right now. Some favorites include slub wool Lemaire sweaters ($334), suede Haulier totes ($266), Blundstone boots ($154), Todd Snyder chamois shirts ($84), and J. Crew double-knee pants ($54).

@canadianaco @benryanwriter @asymmetricinfo I guess it depends on what the Venn diagram looks like between businesses that offer expressive versus non-expressive services. If that's a single circle, the distinction doesn't matter. If it's nearly two separate circles, the distinction is immense in the scope of applicability
English

@dnathe4th @benryanwriter @asymmetricinfo Agreed, but the OP said this as if it wasn’t that big of a deal…
I disagree.

Matt Walsh gets the Supreme Court case wrong. It ruled that a business can refuse to serve gay people if they engage in an expressive service. The ruling did not give businesses wide latitude to refuse to serve gay customers.

What a great way to end Pride Month. Gay activists do not have the right to force you to work for them. You are not a slave. You have freedom of association. It never should have been necessary to clarify this, but thank God sanity prevailed

@canadianaco @benryanwriter @asymmetricinfo It's the difference between an artist declining a commission to depict something they oppose, versus the used car salesman declining to sell a vehicle to someone based on a protected class
English

@benryanwriter @asymmetricinfo Not sure how much this distinction matters, really.

@SCM_tweets @limits_stop @coloradotravis I don't think it's about the heat energy as much as the rate of conduction. Water is a very good conductor of heat whereas air is not, so putting your hands in the oven doesn't deliver as much heat energy as quickly as water would. Also temp is not double between 212 and 450
English

@limits_stop @coloradotravis But a physicist can confirm or correct me…this is just my interpretation.

@FFRF Can I deny service to Christians if they require me to write the word "God"?

@fortworthchris Wasn't this the premise of a retail stock broker commercial a number of years ago?

@SCOTUSPlaces Can't really criticize its use. As long as it's done peaceably--and only once--it's protected by the First Amendment right peaceably to a semble.
English

@textwhileudrive @brooklynmarie @Google Wasn't that access best provided by Google and Facebook linking to forth estate content directly? For free?

@shaunladymon @AP4Liberty Hard to tell because of the blur but it doesn't look very indecent
English

@AP4Liberty At bare minimum it’s arrest for indecent exposure, right?
