Amnesty is no longer the organisation that defended all who were persecuted for their freedom of speech. It has become a self-appointed, vainglorious policeman of wrongthink. It tweets out ideological slogans. It demonises those who disagree with those slogans. It intervened in FWS v Scottish Ministers, on the side of those determined to keep men in women’s prisons and rape crisis centres. Some of us haven’t forgotten that Amnesty stopped supporting the since-murdered prisoner of conscience Alexei Navalny because they deemed he’d said unacceptable things in the past. They reversed that decision due to public backlash, exactly as they withdrew the recent defamatory report, before I or anyone else had responded to it, because they panicked on seeing the reaction. A cynic might think they changed their minds on both occasions, not on principle, but because they were afraid of losing money. You cannot be simultaneously an impartial defender of freedom and speech and a wealthy international witch hunter that publicly vilifies and intimidates small campaigning groups with whom you disagree. As for ‘silencing’ Amnesty, I have neither the power nor the desire to do so. I want them to explain as loudly and extensively as possible why they are using their might and formerly lustrous reputation to attack small non-violent campaigning organisations with legally protected beliefs.

Dear people still talking about a 'Gaza genocide'. Can you point to a single other "genocide" in all of recorded history where: a) The targeted population grew larger every year with thousands of births monthly, b) The targeted population refused at any time to surrender, c) The genocidal party provided mass humanitarian aid, d) The genocidal party warned the target population to move to safety, e) The targeted population of the genocide held victory parades, f) The genocidal party had the ability to wipe out the entire targeted party from the air without a single military casualty but intentionally chose not to do so, g) The genocide abruptly stopped with a ceasefire agreement, h) The target population produced hundreds of medical students who completed their university studies and graduated during the genocide. Any one example will do. Don't even need specifics. Just one. I'll wait.

No one, including Rahm Emanuel, is willing to make an address to Palestinians spelling out hard truths such as... * Israel is not going anywhere * Ashkenazim are indigenous to the Levant * Arabs colonized this land in the 7th century * The Dome of the Rock was built on the ruins of the Second Temple * The Palestinian Grand Mufti was an ally of Hitler * More than half of Israel's population were expelled from "Arab lands" Because they know they'd be lynched for it. Too bad they don't have such good friends as Israelis do.

.@RoKhanna, the public deserves answers—not carefully worded talking points. The alleged incident occurred on July 8. You gave an interview to Reuters on July 9. The story was published on July 11, followed by your social media campaign and national TV appearances. A few straightforward questions: Why wasn’t this trip publicized in advance? For a politician as media-focused as you, the silence before the trip—and the publicity afterward—deserves an explanation. You say this was a serious 90-minute detention. Why did you say nothing about it on your own X account for approximately three days, even though you had already given Reuters an interview the next day? What changed between July 9 and July 11? When reports emerged that you allegedly declined requests to meet with former hostages and hostage families during this trip, you responded, “I have met with Israeli hostages.” That does not answer whether you met with any of them during this visit. Which hostages were you referring to? When and where did those meetings occur? Did you meet with any hostages or hostage families during this trip? If not, why didn’t you answer the actual allegation directly? You have publicly said you were detained by armed settlers and the IDF. What specific actions by the IDF constituted your detention? Who physically blocked the road? Did Israeli soldiers order you to remain, or otherwise prevent you from leaving? The IDF disputes that account. Will you release the complete, unedited video so the public can see the sequence for itself? Your delegation reportedly remained at the scene for roughly 90 minutes. How much contemporaneous video and photographic evidence was recorded? Will you release all of it—not selected clips, but the complete record? Who paid for this trip: your congressional office, your campaign, another organization, or someone else? Will you release the travel and funding disclosures so the public can verify the answer? Finally, will you release the contemporaneous text messages, emails, photographs and videos generated by your delegation during those 90 minutes? If your account is accurate, full transparency should only strengthen your credibility. These aren’t partisan questions. They’re the questions any member of Congress should be prepared to answer after making serious public allegations involving a foreign government. Transparency shouldn’t require this many questions.

What follows is one of the most pathetic walkbacks of extremism you will see. And by someone who will soon be in Congress. The woman circled in red at a New York City march is Darializa Avila Chevalier. The date? October 8, 2023, one day after Hamas had slaughtered 1,200 Israelis — the equivalent of over 40,000 dead Americans. Avila Chevalier is the DSA candidate — backed by Mayor Mamdani — who is headed to Congress this November. Look at the preprinted sign behind her. Not 24 hours had passed since the Hamas terror attack and the“genocide” blood libel was already mass-produced and ready to deploy. This was 19 days before Israel even began its ground operation into Gaza. This march wasn’t a reaction. It was a scripted celebration of Jewish civilian death. Now, of course, Avila Chevalier is trying to “put into context” her attendance at that March so she did a friendly interview with an ultra-progressive Jewish writer, Peter Beinart. “I think the targeting of civilians is wrong in any context, including on October 7.” Oh, how convenient. She then pivoted to her real priority — U.S. tax dollars going to Israel’s “retribution” against civilians, and the sacred “right to resist.” Translation: Jewish blood on October 7 was complicated. Jewish self-defense afterward is the real crime. This is the progressive left’s mask-off moment. They never mourned Jewish slaughter. Not for a moment. They instead rushed to defend it with pre-printed signs and slogans about the need to “defend Palestine” and “Zionism is Genocide.” Never a single time on October 8, or at the dozens and dozens of subsequent rallies at Columbia University or in New York City did they ever talk about how “international law” applied to Hamas raping, burning, and beheading Jews. Avila Chevalier didn’t show up to grieve innocents. She showed up to signal whose side she was on the morning after the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. And it is very disturbing she will soon be in Congress. Never forget who stood with the butchers on Day One. #NeverAgainIsNow

Gaza is so fucking "indigenously palestinian" that its name is derived from... Wait for it... HEBREW! Nablus is so fucking "indigenously palestinian" that its name is derived from Latin (NeoPolis = new town. Named to replace Schem שכם, the Hebrew name) Hebron is so fucking "indigenously palestinian" that it kept its original HEBREW name, which translates to "alliance," "friendship," or "union" as it was used as a meeting place due to the presence of the tombs of the patriarchs Bethlehem is so fucking "indigenously palestinian" that it kept its original HEBREW name, which translates to "home of the bread"

US Rep. Ro Khanna is a charlatan and dishonest. His tour was halted on the bus because they entered a closed military zone (CMZ) which is prohibited (due to safety) to civilians. Police were called in to discuss the problem with the tour organizer who had repeatedly attempted to enter the CMZ in the past as well. The bus has to wait until the arrival of the officers to the scene, which is what caused the delay. It was not a "detainment" and no one was arrested. Police stated they have already reviewed the body cam footage of police at the scene confirming this account. The tour participants were also briefed and then continued on their way. Much like Rahm Emanuel, this is another example of a propagandist (who behaves as if he is paid by America's enemies) intentionally orchestrating a scene to provoke attention and whine about Israel. Ro Khanna you are truly pathetic.

The diplomatic isolation of Israel during the war in Gaza following the Oct. 7 Hamas massacre will go down in history as a moral failure and a defeat of humanity, French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy said on Thursday. “The absence of support for Israel will be considered by future historians as a moment of huge disgrace for the West,” Lévy told JNS in an interview in Tel Aviv. “It is a defeat of humanity and a moral defeat. It is the loss of any moral compass.” Lévy, who lives in Paris, rushed to Israel the day after the Oct. 7 attacks and the following year penned Israel Alone, a book about the lack of diplomatic support for the Jewish state in the West. “I was beyond shocked,” he said. He was back in Israel on Thursday to deliver the keynote address at the annual conference on contemporary antisemitism hosted by the Comper Center for the Study of Antisemitism and Racism at the University of Haifa. The gathering is the largest annual academic conference on modern-day antisemitism, drawing an estimated 550 participants, including 250 in-person presenters, with others joining virtually from abroad. The 77-year-old French intellectual, commonly known as BHL, decried the surge in antisemitism, which he called “unprecedented in my lifetime,” noting that he rarely gives lectures in France for security reasons and that the only safe place for him to speak in the United Kingdom is a synagogue. “Even if I come to speak about philosophy or non-Jewish issues, the only safe place for me in the U.K. is a synagogue,” he said.
