You’re not crazy... if you’ve applied to 50, 100, 200 jobs and heard nothing… The system itself may be filtering you out. Investigations revealed that staff at multiple locations had: - S*xually abused children - Allowed children to be r*ped - Severely beaten children - Ignored or covered up complaints - Retaliated against whistleblowers Dozens of employees were eventually fired, arrested, or forced out. But not before thousands of kids had been exposed to it. Kids were recommended for continued imprisonment for such "crimes" as falling asleep (while heavily medicated), daydreaming, sitting in the wrong place, and just the opinion of staff that they needed to stay. Fortunately, Ricky had a loving father, Ricardo Sr., who fought to get him out. Otherwise, he would've been locked up there even longer. If Tennessee bill SB1868/HB2526 becomes law, this same indefinite imprisonment will be used against foster kids, who don't have parents fighting for them. They won't need to be charged for a crime. They can be imprisoned at any age, as there is no minimum age listed in this bill. There is zero due process, as the judge can just decide that it's probable that they "require" it.
