Welp…….The Brewers now have a pet turtle. @dodger_sister @elaine_stritch I loved making icons based on my favourite series. It was the beginning of my Photoshop journey: the tutorials, the creativity involved. There were no quarrels, no division… it was magic.

ED group was like sittin at a coffee table w 5 friends. LOTR group was like standin onstage in front of thousands of ppl. But it was all community.

Yes. Fandom WAS toxic pre 2020. I was there. Gamer Gate, ship wars, gatekeeping, squabbling and a LOT of mess and noise. Post-COVID, it IS different. Because before, it was infighting. Now, it’s people looking down at even common fandom activities as aberrant behavior.
