If you go to hell, you will know in your heart that you deserve to be there. If you go to heaven, only because of the atoning work of Jesus and your belief in Him, you will always know you do not deserve to be there because of anything you have done. Heaven is only for people who can acknowledge that they are sinners, repent of their sin daily, and accept that Jesus (God) paid the only price that would give you a chance to escape hell. But submission to this is almost impossible for most people. We all think we are smarter and more moral than God. God says he will "wipe away every tear" in heaven. I can't possibly know how He will do that, but I do know it will be perfect in every way.

One question I always ask Christians that I have never gotten any reasonable answer for is … If heaven involves perfect, unending happiness for the “saved”, how is it possible for them to experience that joy while retaining full knowledge of…and genuine love for…people they cared about who are were never saved and are suffering eternal torment in hell? Alternatively, if God erases or suppresses those memories to preserve heavenly bliss, does this not compromise the authenticity of the personal identity of the “saved …and the very notion of a perfectly loving and just deity who’s willing to erase people’s memory of their own loved one? These aren’t mundane questions.

It is exactly about who deserves to have children. You can't open this door and say that now that YOU get what you want it must stop here and go no further. Why should people with hereditary diabetes have children? Should people with sickle cell disease have children? Should asthmatics have children? Should stupid people have children? Should black people have children? You are nobody special. You don't get to choose where the ball stops once it starts rolling.

This is incredibly sad. At first I was sympathetic then I read they had to be propped/positioned by caretakers to have sex....and she couldn't carry the baby to term due to risk of losing her own life. Now Im like "WTF?!" They chose to create a child that will suffer for life? A child they can't care for themselves? That's low key selfish, but the medical professionals who allowed this were highly negligent. Every child is a blessing, I guess.
