If you’re a fan of Japanese music and live outside of Japan, I would be so grateful if you take a moment to read this🙏 If you’ve ever wondered why more Japanese artists don’t reach out and do shows & tours overseas, the reason is pretty simple and the main one is the hurdle of selling tickets. There is only a SMALL percentage of artists that can rely on the power of big labels/agents to promote their shows internationally. Even in Japan, selling out shows is a lot more challenging than in past years, due to people just being satisfied with digital content. And considering it costs even more to bring a tour overseas, you can imagine how many artists are willing to LOSE money by doing so, if any. It’s not just about the artist not being popular or sufficient enough, or that they don’t have the will to bring their content to fans around the world. In fact, there are so many fellow artists around me that I highly respect, telling me they wish they could do shows overseas, but know it’s not realistically possible, and as someone who yearns for the same thing, it really, really hurts inside. More importantly, it hurts most that fans around the world will often never ever be able to see a show of their favorite Japanese artist. I’m not trying to ask for pity, nor demand anything, unless this resonates with you. But if it does, and you want to know what you can do to help us reach you with our music, it’s really very simple. Please go follow artist’s socials. Please go subscribe to their Youtube channels. Please find them on Spotify. Please interact with them by commenting and letting them know you’re there to support them. Please share your passion with the people around you. AND PLEASE, don’t miss the opportunity to buy a ticket and GO to their shows, when that miraculous opportunity comes, whether it’s a solo or event stage. I am not exaggerating when I say it IS a miracle and it might never happen again. I know writing all this isn’t gonna change much, but I just hope it reminds you that every listener, every fan, every second of support matters in keeping music alive, particularly in this generation. Thanks for listening, if you made it this far🫶 Let’s keep Rocking On. NANO

@donkeyrider We departed from the N8 intersection of 09R, so the third entrance from the western end, and we were rotating at the end of the 09R touchdown zone markings. And that was with the maximum derated thrust and flap 5. VR was 127kts…. She was trying to impersonate a 757 !

What a difference a month can make…. Last month I operated my longest flight, 14:55hr from take-off to touchdown. Tonight I’ll do my shortest, potentially just 18 mins, LHR 09R to LGW 08R. The 777 fleet always keeps it interesting !

In the last 5 months, I’ve been to 5 countries and 9 cities across Asia And here’s my honest take on all of them: 🇦🇪 Abu Dhabi - really liked it. Clean, beautiful, great weather in winter and a lot of things to do. But to me it feels more like a city to visit than a city to stay in long term. I wouldn’t personally choose it for everyday life. 🇦🇪 Dubai - Dubai is Dubai. If you have money, life there can be amazing. I could definitely see myself spending some time there just for the experience. 🇹🇭 Bangkok - I spent a month there and really liked it. So much food, malls, markets, shops, 7/11 and things to do, good prices. You can find literally anything there. But the traffic is insane, moving around the city is exhausting and sometimes it feels like there’s not enough air or greenery. 🇻🇳 Da Nang - at first I liked it a lot, but later I started noticing more downsides. Great for a short stay, but not for too long. Too much construction, too much noise, hard to cross the road. But the beach, warm water and food were amazing. I liked the food here even more than in Thailand. 🇻🇳 Hoi An - very cute, touristy, atmospheric. A nice place to visit for the culture, lanterns, boats and enjoy the vibe for a bit. 🇻🇳 Ho Chi Minh - cool city, but super loud and chaotic. Lots of shops, local brands, restaurants and good food. The War Museum leaves a strong impression too. Interesting city. 🇻🇳 Phu Quoc - I loved it. Especially the north of the island. We stayed in a hotel in the forest with a pool, and it was such a good experience. Warm water, peaceful atmosphere, beautiful nature. The south was less my thing because it felt much more touristy. 🇲🇾 Kuala Lumpur - probably my biggest surprise. I regret only staying 5 days. It felt so clean, calm, organized and pleasant. Way fewer bikes, very nice people and overall it didn’t even feel like the chaotic version of Asia people usually imagine. I really loved it there. 🇸🇬 Singapore - a childhood dream for me. I’m still so happy I made it there. For me, it felt almost too perfect. Gardens by the Bay is unreal, like I was inside of Avatar. I was genuinely in shock the whole time. If I had to choose the two places, it’s definitely Kuala Lumpur and Phu Quoc. Those are the two places I’d love to come back to the most.

Do you remember the news about BYD supposedly using "slave labor" in Brazil? Well, the Brazilian top labor inspector who led that investigation has now been fired. Here's what actually happened. When BYD was building its factory in Brazil, they hired a construction company called Jinjiang. The workers were staying in simple prefab housing, and the site was in the middle of nowhere—no running water, no electricity, and no nice beds. But let's be real: any construction site looks like that at the beginning. Mud everywhere, dust flying, materials scattered around....... Even the managers were sleeping in tents. It takes months before you get proper working and living conditions. This is the real life. But this Brazilian labor inspector kept pushing, determined to put BYD on a blacklist. Although BYD had cut ties with Jinjiang, took the financial hit themselves, and brought in a new contractor. The truth is, BYD was paying those workers three to ten times more than the local wage. The difference is that Chinese workers focus on getting the job done and are willing to put up with temporary inconvenience for the sake of work. Calling BYD a "slave labor" operation is completely ridiculous. Honestly, this was probably never really about BYD. It looks like a case of American NGOs/Media teaming up with local bad actors in Brazil—economically, to shake down companies for money, and politically, to target President Lula. Because BYD is the biggest investment he's brought into the country, and one of the signature achievements of his administration. Americans obviously don't like Lula.

Guess what: US warmongering and mass-murdering around the globe is whose mistake? You guessed it. China. 😂 These people… they seriously expect everyone to act like themselves in the past, otherwise you are doing it wrong.
