theo i never believed you once, not once when you said codex was better than claude opus 4.8, i thought to give it a shot recently, and i’m so pissed at myself and anthropic, opus is so fucking dumb it can barely achieve good code output, i don’t know if opus was super nerfed or what the fuck but it’s BAD, with claude i make features to fix bugs on them, with codex i actually make features that work first hand.

@KhalidWarsa These models do not support images. Sometimes it is simpler and faster to show a screenshot to the model than to describe in detail how something looks and what needs to be done.

I’m going all in on Chinese models cause they are affordable and get the job done. That’s all I care about.
DeepSeek V4 Pro is my default coding model and it’s gonna power the assistant and custom workflows I’m building.

Claude just saved me ~$5K in 1h 🤯
So, I have a 1TB MacBook, I had 100% used, only 2GB left
Was about to buy a new MacBook, but...
I went ahead & just told Claude to audit my MacBook & free up some storage, without deleting anything important
I had to accept everything too, just to be safe
After about 1h, it literally freed up 508GB, which is nuts
Nearly half my storage is free
It saved me from spending ~$5K on a new 2TB MacBook
It also solved a memory issue I was having & made my MacBook faster, like new
Next: I will be trying the security audit idea that @levelsio shared 🔥

Thanks to the @irfansenercom (a resident in @HackerResidency ) for teaching me how to vibe code iOS apps with my mac mini, I now have the first mobile app fully created by claude. It's a simple flight tracker app I build for fun and to learn the process, scan your boarding pass, use on-device AI to read the info, save into database, fully offline and private with no network access, and visualize your flight history into a 3d globe 🌎 Native iOS app, swift UI, I never read a single line of code, all designs are created with GPT Image 2, app store listing and marketing copy are also creates by claude. Took me a week talking to claude via telegram in my fee time. More fun apps soon! 😁
