Y'all getting weird about Lady Dimitrescu while @Hotsammysliz and I discuss how dominant she would be in the paint if she played in the NBA. 9'6 with vampire strength is terrifying down low. If she's got free throws there's no stopping her.
@Knight_Camus Yeah, I dislike the matchup very much. I can do with shitzones but the forelegs are just a very awkward spot to hit, especially when he puts the aura up. I only put him in "cool" tier because at least he doesn't fly as much, but he is clearly the worst out of the og trio imo.
@dotfaywell It's fun how you can recognize a bow user by its Kushala Daora placement in a MHR tier list, those hitzones man... I had a lot more fun killing it with my switch axe than with my bow which is pretty funny considering Kushala was far more easier as ranged in world
@samgrass_ Basarios is pretty fucking awful, but he's pathetically slow and easy to dodge around compared to Anja/Almu so he's not quite "wtf" for me personally.
@bjdadcs Didn't even go through the first part. Game was goat-tier from the jump for me. Then again, I started playing it when Dark Arisen was already out.
Rise shipped as a good game, but not as a proper Monster Hunter in my opinion. The honeymoon period is a pretty big deal to me personally. Having it plagued with charm table issues and a plethora of missing content I consider as core is an immeasurable disappoint. What a letdown.
@Blun_Z I completed it on my first, but some things like the menu, field skills, tutorials, etc. exhausted me to a point where I was no longer invested. Knowing everything beforehand on the 2nd run made things a lot more enjoyable for me since I knew everything already.
@CSMPiano Now it's more or less a thing I do to inspire and educate others who are willing to soak up the knowledge, while still enjoying the thrill of competition every so often. I enjoy being someone people can look up to. Also flexing, I like flexing.
@CSMPiano The holy speedrunner trinity of Canta, Rainy, and AkantoreX. Loved their vids so I wanted to give it a shot. It just clicked afterward and I found myself getting better pretty fast from meeting more runners, watching their videos, and becoming friends with them.
Fellow MH Speedrunner, what introduces you to this scene and makes you decide to run this game ?
I would love to hear your stories :D
As for me it wasn't until I've found Rainy's AT Nami stream that let me get to know how the grinds are done push me the start my first run!
