@Codie_Sanchez Whenever a ceo need to hire a “transformative person” that’s a red flag. It’s the job of the leader of a company to transform his or her company.

Best money I've ever spent as a CEO... an internal AI transformation hire. He doesn't care about title. He just wants to ship. And he goes across your entire org, sales, revenue, hr, apps, tech and kills stupid manual processes. Such an underrated unlock I have since hired 2 more.

We’ve raised $400M at a $9B valuation. Investors include Georgian, G Squared, Prysm, 1789, YC, Coatue, a16z, Craft, and QIA, with strategic investments from Accenture, Databricks, Okta, and Tether. We’re also lucky to have incredible individuals backing us, including Shaq and Jared Leto. This funding will help us scale our ambition and expand beyond coding into AI systems that center human creativity. Replit is now used at 85% of the Fortune 500. We have an opportunity to help shape the future of work. One where AI abstracts away the boring parts and humans shine as creative directors. We’re also investing more globally, particularly in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Innovation can come from anywhere in the world, and we want to help unlock it.

@michaeljburry So you see the value of Anthropic but you think AI spending is a sham. How does Anthropic work without Nvidia and other chips?

Removing Claude was a Trumpian thing to do. He and his people were offended. The 6 month phase out was the military saying uh, we need Claude for a minute here, and no, the Palantir wrapper with those other models alone is not enough. Shows the stickiness is Claude’s tech, not Palantir’s. Hard to say Claude wasn’t a big factor. Or it would just be swapped and dropped.
The Zeno Report@ZenoReport

@michaeljburry Mr. Burry, some people suggest that Claude wasn't a big factor in Palantir's AI capabilities. If that were truly the case, why would everyone from the government to Elon try to come after Anthropic for its stand instead of just quietly removing Claude from their systems?

We’re closing out 2025 with another strong quarter, exceeding the high end of our guidance across key metrics. We repurchased $254M of shares this year, reducing our share count by 18%, while continuing to invest heavily in our AI-driven future. But this year was about more than beating the numbers. 2025 validated what we’ve believed for a long time: performance advertising doesn’t begin and end with Search and Social. There is a massive opportunity across the open web, and when powered by AI and proprietary intent data, it works. Advertisers are seeing strong outcomes. Retention is up. Budgets are growing. Our deep distribution, exclusive publisher relationships, and intent signals are becoming structural advantages in an AI-first world. We’re building the monetization layer for the open web, a leading performance platform beyond Search and Social. Thank you to our partners and Taboolars who are making it happen. The best part of our story is still ahead cc @taboola Read more at: investors.taboola.com

Under @JeffBezos, $AMZN created $2 trillion in value. Under his successor, the company increased value by only 7%, or around $150 billion, over the last 5 years. The stock is effectively flat since the leadership change. Founders matter!!

Wild inflows to sectors outside of technology this year "Sector funds excluding Tech have seen a record $62bn in inflows in the first five weeks of the year. To put that in context, that’s more than they saw in all of 2025 (just over $50bn)" --DB

Their ad was so so funny. They are 100% going to change and launch Ads when they realized (1) good ads are good for users (2) it’s the only way to scale or they’d have to shutdown/lose, and (3) finance matters too. (see Netflix. Hated ads. Love ads). I wouldn’t comment on competitors. You give them more distribution than any NFL game ever can Lastly, while i have you … go @Taboola Deeperdive ;) #OpenWeb #LLM

First, the good part of the Anthropic ads: they are funny, and I laughed. But I wonder why Anthropic would go for something so clearly dishonest. Our most important principle for ads says that we won’t do exactly this; we would obviously never run ads in the way Anthropic depicts them. We are not stupid and we know our users would reject that. I guess it’s on brand for Anthropic doublespeak to use a deceptive ad to critique theoretical deceptive ads that aren’t real, but a Super Bowl ad is not where I would expect it. More importantly, we believe everyone deserves to use AI and are committed to free access, because we believe access creates agency. More Texans use ChatGPT for free than total people use Claude in the US, so we have a differently-shaped problem than they do. (If you want to pay for ChatGPT Plus or Pro, we don't show you ads.) Anthropic serves an expensive product to rich people. We are glad they do that and we are doing that too, but we also feel strongly that we need to bring AI to billions of people who can’t pay for subscriptions. Maybe even more importantly: Anthropic wants to control what people do with AI—they block companies they don't like from using their coding product (including us), they want to write the rules themselves for what people can and can't use AI for, and now they also want to tell other companies what their business models can be. We are committed to broad, democratic decision making in addition to access. We are also committed to building the most resilient ecosystem for advanced AI. We care a great deal about safe, broadly beneficial AGI, and we know the only way to get there is to work with the world to prepare. One authoritarian company won't get us there on their own, to say nothing of the other obvious risks. It is a dark path. As for our Super Bowl ad: it’s about builders, and how anyone can now build anything. We are enjoying watching so many people switch to Codex. There have now been 500,000 app downloads since launch on Monday, and we think builders are really going to love what’s coming in the next few weeks. I believe Codex is going to win. We will continue to work hard to make even more intelligence available for lower and lower prices to our users. This time belongs to the builders, not the people who want to control them.
