@George90731 @WildMediaOnly They didn't press charges in Mexican court.
English

@WildMediaOnly Steals and doesn’t get charged. Total bullshit. If I stole some Mexican soccer players jersey you better believe they’re charging me with a crime.

@sjmcdougall30 @Skriptkeeper17 You're a little stupid, aren't you? Anyone can be arrested, including cops. This includes stupid female cops.
English

Reddit users exploited Robinhood for MILLIONS and still went broke
In 2019, a random Redditor called ControlTheNarrative found a bug on Robinhood that counted his borrowed money as his own
So every time he traded, the app let him borrow even more on top of money he never had
A $2,000 deposit turned into $50,000 of buying power within minutes and instead of slowly pulling it out he bet every dollar on Apple crashing but the stock went up instead
Two minutes after market open the entire position was gone and he was tens of thousands in debt to Robinhood, live on his own webcam
The only reaction he could had was a "guh" so iconic WallStreetBets still uses it today every time someone blows up their account
After that he posted the bug on Reddit
A user called MoonYachts turned $4,000 into a $1 million position another one called Cal_Warrior flipped $3,000 into $1.7 million
Within days, every single one of the 20 accounts that tried it had been suspended and most of them walked away owing Robinhood tens of thousands of dollars

@Terry_Firma @ChaosTV Quickly blocks me after failing his argument. What a sad turd is this guy.
English

@dragonsayspuff @ChaosTV Help her out of the car or help her get the car in gear and move it. 💥 🚂
English

@ChaosTV Problem is she didn't read the owners manual. Her car shifted to neutral when she opened the door, then she panicked.
"Mercedes-Benz vehicles are designed to automatically shift into Park (P) or Neutral (N) when the driver's door is opened while the engine is running"
English

@ChaosTV Why didn’t the idiotic chode with his cell phone help her ?
English

@Pirat_Nation EU: You’ll have to buy a new phone every time you drop it in water.
English

Starting in 2027, smartphones sold in the European Union will be required to have user-replaceable batteries designed for greater durability and more charging cycles.
Manufacturers must also provide spare parts and repair manuals for at least 10 years after a model is released.
This is real pressure against planned obsolescence. It should mean phones that actually last longer, cheaper fixes, and a lot less electronic waste piling up. About time.

@aaronpalmer @ronin21btc Beta cuck response. Keep sitting in that chair dude.
English

@ronin21btc Yes, he is exuding massive beta boy sads for refusing to let it go. Grow up and man up. Geez.
English

@jennife40991675 @ronin21btc Typical woman response. If this was a woman who they did this to it would all cries about assault.
English

@ronin21btc For you to get that mad and still be holding onto the anger, I think you might be a closeted homosexual. And if you’re not, then you have zero sense of humor and take yourself and life way too seriously. This is a very common prank at weddings.

A single accountant stole $53 million from her employer over 20 years and nobody noticed
Rita Crundwell was the comptroller of Dixon, Illinois with a population of 15,000
She opened a secret bank account called “Reserve Sewer Capital Development Account”
For two decades she transferred city funds into it while filing fake invoices
She used the money to become the most successful quarter horse breeder in America
Owned 400 horses, multiple farms, a custom bus, and a $2.1 million motorhome
She won the World Championship in quarter horse breeding four times while actively robbing a small town
Only got caught because a substitute accountant covered her desk while she was on vacation
The city had been cutting firefighter jobs and road repairs for years while this was happening
$53 million. One woman. 20 years. One vacation.

@mellafinger @DoctorLemma This is the stupidest thing I've heard in a while.
English

@DoctorLemma God told us there is a hard as molten glass dome over earth. When we fly-we fly under the dome. So if their 'space' craft failed-it failed under the dome. And we have never been to the moon; Elons rockets kept crashing into the dome....

On this day 56 years ago, three men fell from the sky in a freezing, half-dead spacecraft and landed in the Pacific Ocean. They had been given almost no chance of coming home alive.
Six days earlier, astronauts Jim Lovell, Jack Swigert, and Fred Haise launched on Apollo 13, heading for the Moon. Two days into the flight, 200,000 miles from Earth, an oxygen tank exploded and tore a hole in the side of their ship. Within minutes, they were losing oxygen, losing power, and losing heat.
There was no plan for this. No one had trained for it. The Moon landing was abandoned. The only question now was whether three men could survive long enough to get home.
Their main ship was dying, so they climbed into a smaller attached craft that was only designed to land on the Moon. It was built for two people for two days. They had to make it last four days for three. The temperature inside dropped to 3 degrees Celsius. Water droplets covered every surface. They rationed drinking water to six ounces per man per day, less than a single cup. Jim Lovell lost 14 pounds in four days.
Then the air started going bad. The filters that clean carbon dioxide from the air were running out. Without new ones, the crew would suffocate. The spare filters from the main ship were the wrong shape. Square filters. Round slots. Engineers on the ground grabbed the same materials the astronauts had on board, plastic bags, cardboard, duct tape, and a sock, and built a makeshift adapter on a desk. Then they talked the crew through building an identical one while floating in zero gravity, 200,000 miles away. It worked.
To get home, they had to swing around the far side of the Moon and fire their engine at the exact right second. Too steep and they would burn up entering Earth’s atmosphere. Too shallow and they would bounce off it and drift into space forever.
The entire world stopped. Over 40 million people watched on television. The Pope led prayers from the Vatican.
On April 17, 1970, the spacecraft hit the atmosphere. For four minutes, all radio contact went silent. The heat of re-entry surrounds a spacecraft in a layer of superheated gas that blocks all signals. Controllers on the ground called out. Nothing. The silence stretched past the expected time. One minute late. Still nothing.
At one minute and 28 seconds past the deadline, a voice broke through. The parachutes opened. The capsule hit the water. All three men were alive.
They never reached the Moon. But the mission became the greatest rescue in the history of space travel. It proved that the most dangerous moment in any journey is not the one you prepare for. It is the one nobody saw coming.
Jim Lovell never flew in space again. He never walked on the Moon. Years later, when asked if he considered himself unlucky, he said: “I think of the crew of Apollo 1, who died in a fire before they ever left the ground. I think of the crews who never got to fly at all. No, I regard Apollo 13 as a triumph.”

Officer holds man at gunpoint that does not fit description of the person he is looking for.
Officer Kerzaya was called out to this hotel as a white man pulled a gun on the hotel staff. As the officer was searching the premises he ran into Trey an employee of the hotel and also African American.
The officer proceeded to pull his firearm on and hold Trey at gun point for a number of minutes. The whole time Trey had his hands up and was eventually on his knees. Once verified Trey was an employee all he said to him was get out of here.
Next this officer pulled his gun on another person in the hotel that also did not fit the description.
The officer resigned from duty as his certification was stripped from him. Trey filed suit against the city and pulled in a settlement.

Female cop sacked after sending topless “work boobies” selfies in uniform to her lover, claims she was only investigated because she reported a stalker.
PC Alisha Staves, 31, with 10 years in Humberside Police, took raunchy snaps: one in a station cupboard under her police fleece jacket (“Maybe Mrs Officer can give you a helping hand”) and another at home in her stab vest (“Work boobies”).
She reported being stalked by an ex, but the probe into that complaint uncovered the explicit messages on her phone.
Disciplinary panel ruled it a serious abuse of position and dismissed her with immediate effect.
Staves says the whole thing has left her devastated and warns it discourages female officers from reporting crimes against them.

Athena Strand's Mother Stares Down FedEx Killer.
In a Fort Worth, Texas, courtroom on Wednesday, Maitlyn Gandy locked eyes with the man who killed her 7-year-old daughter and laid out the raw reason she showed up for nearly every court date in the case.
Gandy took the stand during Tanner Horner's sentencing hearing and said she did it because she had to cover up the handprint bruises left around Athena's neck. She added that her little girl no longer has a voice, and she wanted the world to see Athena as more than just a story or a headline.
"She was loved. She is loved. And she is missed, and she was real, and she had a life, and she wanted to live," Gandy told the court.
In November of 2022, Horner, who worked as a FedEx contract driver at the time, pulled up to the Strand family home to deliver a package, a set of "You Can Be Anything" Barbies that had been ordered as a Christmas gift for Athena.
He later admitted to investigators that he struck the girl with his truck, then strangled her because he panicked that she would tell her parents. But prosecutors said truck video showed Athena alive and healthy in the back as Horner drove off with her, and audio captured him threatening to kill her if she didn't stay quiet. Athena's body was found two days later.
Gandy's testimony came as part of the ongoing sentencing phase as Horner sat quietly as she spoke. A jury will decide his punishment.
