@warikoo I feel that you don't have to live apart in same city, can be a different flat or different floor. Old fashioned thinking but I feel it's our moral responsibility to be around with our parents when they grow old just like we want or kid to be around when they grow up.

@warikoo Valid points and a personal decision. Stayed away from my parents for 18 years due to studies, job. Post my kid, my parents moved with us to a different city leaving everything behind just to support us. Been an year since we all are living together and me and my wife are happy.

Doctors are the most hated professionals in India. A bridge collapses due to faulty design, construction or material and 50 people die. No problem. Happens. A patient dies due to complications beyond doctor’s control, he is negligent and incompetent. Doctors are looters..

I don't know who needs to hear this but using GLUTATHIONE oral tablets or as injectable as an antioxidant "wellness product," or off-label use as skin-lightening agent or as a "liver-detox" is not approved, recommended or useful. Glutathione use can interfere with your thyroid function tests and can cause problems with proper interpretations of thyroid function tests if you are on thyroxine supplementation. The only approved use of glutathione is injectable formulation for reducing nerve-toxic damage while using cisplatin chemotherapy drug. The same goes with N-acetyl cysteine or NAC. The only approved use is for the treatment of paracetamol overdose/poisoning and effective when given within 8 hours of paracetamol ingestion. Using NAC as a dietary supplement or a wellness-"antioxidant" formulation for liver/kidney detox will only making your wallet lighter.
