Fact to be noted Nepal's election has brought a significant generational shift in Parliament. Only 2 leaders over the age of 70 (Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Mahabir Pun) have been elected, while 62 Members of Parliament are under the age of 40. The average age of directly elected MPs is 43. The results suggest that voters have placed strong trust in the younger generation. Out of the 165 seats, 140 MPs have been elected to Parliament for the first time.
