Monstrous mass murderer Kamala Harris is not working to achieve a ceasefire. High-level American politicians don't "call" for stuff. They make and order stuff to happen. What Harris is doing is lying to the Democrat base, which is getting more and more nervous and anxious about the genocide, by pretending to care for Palestinian lives. What she's also doing is serving Netanyahu by brandishing a totally idiotic and unrealistic proposal: demanding that Hamas release all Israeli hostages for a six-week pause in the slaughter (which Israel is not going to respect anyway because it has a right to self-defense). After this, the genocide will be re-launched. The Biden administration is wilfully deceiving Americans like it wants to stop the genocide. It doesn't. In doing that they are helping Netanyahu accomplish his ultimate goal - to get as many as the hostages killed, preferably all of them, so that no deal is ever signed and fresh grief and horror prevent any reckoning from taking place. Netanyahu is not releasing thousands of Palestinian prisoners, and judging from Kamala Harris's speech, Israel still has a green light to continue the massacre as long as it wants to. American protesters should not be fooled by this obvious lie. They should double down and increase the pressure on the Biden White House. Much of this, and the future of the Middle East, depends on Hamas' ability to fool the IDF and save hostages from attempted releases, which are sure to cause their deaths. Because once the hostages are all dead, the real holocaust of Gaza will begin.
