This should probably come with a trigger warning ⚠️ You can use soap in your cast-iron pan It’s going to be OK I’m lucky to have over 50 pieces of cast-iron and each one of them has been scrubbed with soap. The key is you need to properly dry it right after rinsing it off. Once it’s completely dry, then re-season it with 1/2 tsp of oil Simple & easy no mitigation of flavors from previous cooks and that’s really important.

@drfarahsutton It’s a natural (biological) occurrence: as we age, we are “programmed” to conserve energy. Of course, I have no explanation for the countless times I’ve not followed my instinct stayed home!

I did girl’s night dinner and drinks (mocktails for me) with some of my friends this past weekend. The food was good, the service was excellent but I still found myself preferring my own food/cooking. As I get older, I am becoming more and more of a homebody. Anyone else?
