since then, i started focusing more on what's next in the world
currently we are living in a fascinating time. AI is here and it's getting better than most professionals. i am not saying that everyone should be replaced by AI, but what used to take a big team of engineers now takes now one engineer with a good product sense or specific knowledge of the problem space (the engineer still needs to review what the AI is doing)
that made me realize that i also need to adapt. the future is dev tooling for agents and products for humans
at the same time, tech is not the moat anymore. anyone with enough niche expertise can build a product over the weekend (that doesn't mean it will scale). the main thing that matters now is distribution and taste
that's what i've been focused on lately, getting better at the skills i consider relevant for the AI age
therefore, i am looking for a team where i can apply these realizations
