In 2018 after 15 years of living in my car and eating out 3x per day I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, hypothyroidism, and acid reflux.
My doctor was very blunt and told me “I am prescribing you these medicines but they will not save you, if you do not make a change you will die an early death.”
I had reached a level in my career and education so that I no longer needed a second full time job or had classes to attend at night . I had no excuses!!
Instead of filling the prescriptions I committed to a drastic health plan and lost over 115 lbs in under a year eliminating the need for any of the medications prescribed .!
5 years later half the weight is back and my sugars are back in pre-diabetes range. I maintained for many years but last year broke me!
I was weak and allowed professional challenges to increase my eating. Food for reward of a hard days work , treating myself like an animal.
The challenges continue and may have even gotten harder but
It’s time to double down!!
In 2018 I did keto and fasting. It felt like magic. I was not hungry and had more mental and physical energy than I have ever felt.
Today I am committed to returning to a no sugar lifestyle and regaining my health!
Im in the middle of these 2 guys and Im going left!!!
