After reviewing the Terminal data, we’ve decided to conclude the season early, and sunset our Terminal program. The points distribution for Week 3 has gone out as normal and a snapshot has been taken of all user activity up to this point, which will be used in our final calculations. This decision did not come easy, but we believe this is what’s best to support our ecosystem. Next week, we'll run a supplemental points distribution to thank all users who have been exploring and experimenting with the different apps throughout the program. Eligible Terminal participants will receive a share of the rewards pool in USDM, based on the points accumulated to date as well as activity that supported Mega. Early next week, we'll open a place on Terminal for one week so you can designate a wallet address to receive your rewards. Terminal’s main features will be merged with Rabbithole, transitioning everything into one unified chain experience. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this far. We can’t wait to show you what we have in store. A note from Shuyao on what’s next:

MegaETH and Me In my posts about MegaETH, some pointed out my bias due to my affection for Abstract That's true. But it doesn't mean I'm wrong. If anything, my excessive criticism of MegaETH helps expose all its weaknesses Let's look at the facts What has Abstract achieved in 2 years with a modest 11M$ in funding? • Built its own seamless wallet with native account abstraction • First in the industry to launch a portal with unified access to the ecosystem • Sign up via email, Google, passkey, or another wallet - no seed phrases • Direct card top-ups, no crypto exchange needed All of the above is critical for non-crypto users and has no equivalent in crypto. The journey from email registration to card deposit takes minutes • Access to 60+ apps on the portal, primarily entertainment-focused • Strong Web3 gaming results - top-grossing Web3 games are on Abstract • A strong community that keeps using the network in a bear market, driving an impressive Revenue/TVL ratio Not bad? Now let's look at MegaETH's achievements 2 years after their first raise • The main achievement - Vitalik is an investor 😂 That's what drove MegaETH's hype • Ultra-fast transactions? Guys, you're not new to crypto - you know how many projects have died chasing high TPS. Right now there isn't a single app in the terminal that actually needs high TPS. I'm told it's needed for gaming. So the question is: does MegaETH look like a place where Web3 gaming can grow with a solid player base? No. Technology without use cases is doomed to fail. • A one-stop app portal (Abstract's idea) and a nice website - for 110M$ in funding, they managed • And today, 2 years in, they finally announced their own wallet Do I really need to remind you which L2 was first to ship one of the most successful smart contract wallets after Safe? Gambling deserves a separate mention Abstract took a lot of heat for it - but Abstract always positioned itself as a consumer entertainment chain, and gambling is a large, growing sector in Web2 Apparently MegaETH looked at Abstract, saw the millions in app revenue, and decided their gambling apps would be just as popular. No, guys Not to mention that every gambling app is basically a low-quality copy of what's already on Abstract: roulette, wheels, scratch cards. Pump Party didn't even bother - they fully copied one of Abstract's most successful gambling apps, Moonsheep lol As for games - I haven't had time to try everything yet. I don't believe in Web3 gaming on MegaETH, so I'd like to invite all MegaETH games to Abstract once the hype dies and reality sets in. You'll find PMF and a real player base. Ask Supertrip how much love they got when they came to Abstract from Base Blast had a great first season - interesting apps, an innovative incentive system, the first-ever native on-chain yield. Season 1 ran for 4 months with 17% of tokens allocated - and people were still unhappy with the drop Now MegaETH, a worse version of Blast, wants us to use their network for 2 months in exchange for scraps - 2.5% of a token designed to dump No thanks MegaETH is doomed to fail because it brings nothing new to the industry. The only winners will be the team that got lucky raising easy money during a bull market - thanks to Vitalik As for Abstract - I'm not saying it's guaranteed to succeed. But this is a team of people with a vision, building at high efficiency, creating genuinely innovative things for crypto with a noble goal: bringing Web2 users into crypto Soon you'll see a new phase of Abstract's growth, as hundreds of millions in RWA assets get tokenized on the Abstract blockchain Oh, almost forgot @retsbaxyz finally got there and killed that rabbit This is the end.😂

Unlike some, I'm among those extremely disappointed with Mega. I'd like a clear and straightforward response from the community. Simply saying the servers aren't good when activity was already very low before the terminal update isn't enough. Today, we were subjected to yet another change, and that's unprofessional. You were supposed to distribute 2.5% of the Mega tokens . It would have been nice if you had at least distributed a reasonable amount for each point. But the problem is that you've lost faith in your word by constantly backtracking on everything you do. MegaETH is supposed to be a chain for apps, and now you're undermining some that were boosted by the campaign. It sends the wrong message, and saying it's due to inorganic activity without giving a real reason, just like the first buyback for example, isn't a good sign. Those who used the dApps earned points, and it was very simple and logical for Mega. Not implementing the exact same system was clever because it prevented everyone from doing quests or the same things. The boosts weren't perfect, and early users weren't rewarded for activity before Terminal, except for certain boosts. But what are you going to do for us? We, the users and supporters of even Terminal. The boosts were already weak, but now... Seriously, @bread_ what are you going to do for the early birds? Those who were there since day one? Why not just finish season 1 and stop the campaign as planned after two months? That would have made sense, but instead you're cutting everything off abruptly. It's truly incomprehensible, and you're hiding behind absolutely no facts. You're just proving your detractors right. Provide stats before and during the campaign so we have a visual representation. MOOS won't solve anything, and you're hiding behind it. We need fapps, consumer dapps, Morpho, and Pendle. Meanwhile, the terminal was perfect for keeping the community busy and encouraging experimentation. You're making a laughingstock of the chain with your constant changes. You're attracting the FuD, which is understandable given all the changes, and you're alienating the real community and the actual users those who have been there since the beginning. You're penalizing the community and genuine users. You're penalizing them and pushing them into debt to a point of no return if you don't find a way to reward them. Why didn't you at least finish season 1? Why?whereas before Terminal there was practically no activity. You'll never fix this. Every project needs a community. You've just disappointed many of them, notably by encouraging them to buy even more NFTs for boosts, only to have everything shut down. As for one other thing, what about the whales who wanted to deposit USDM and earn huge points, only to have their deposits canceled? What are you going to do with their points, knowing that some of them haven't even used the chain, or hardly at all? Give an AMA with a FAQ out of respect for the community. You're hiding behind Moos when we don't know when Moos will be ready. Now @bread_ , @hotpot_dao , @joakimhi , you could at least answer these questions: - What are your objections to the stats? - What will be done with the remaining Mega to be distributed? - How will you reward those who were there before Terminal? - Do you really think that people who wanted to deposit USDM and received points without using the chain deserve them? They would receive USDM even though they contributed nothing? Some didn't even touch the chain and are in the top 100. That deserves a redistribution to those who actually used the chain. - How will you give value to Mega? With MOOS, will we be able to pay for gas in Mega or USDM? - How will you revitalize the system to attract dApps used after this latest failure? You've managed to wear me down, even though I've always been a fan and a supporter. I'm giving my opinion, and it might sound harsh, but it's the word of a supporter since day one.
