The bar was loud, warm, and full of stories waiting to be told.
At the counter sat a rugged biker — leather jacket, worn boots, a long beard and a mug of beer he is drinking.
A woman slid onto the stool beside him and smiled.
“Are you a real biker?” she asked.
He chuckled softly.
“Well,” he said, leaning back, “my mom was riding on the back of my dad’s Harley while she was pregnant with me. As a kid, I grew up riding with my old man. The day I was finally big enough, I got my own Harley… and I’ve been riding ever since.”
He lifted his glass.
“So yeah — I guess you could say I’m a real biker.”
The woman nodded thoughtfully.
“Well,” she said, “I’m a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about women. From the moment I wake up, I think about women. When I shower — women. Watching TV — women. Even eating dinner somehow makes me think about women. Everything reminds me of women.”
They both sat there quietly for a moment, sipping their drinks in peaceful silence.
A little while later, another man took the seat on the biker’s other side.
He glanced over and asked casually, “So… are you a real biker?”
The biker stared into his glass for a second, deep in thought.
Then he sighed.
“You know,” he said slowly, “I always thought I was…”
“…but apparently I’m a lesbian.”

It's Thursday March 20th and we have another announcement:
Big news--our sweet BeBe welcomed triplets overnight!💕 While we sadly lost one little one (farm life reminds us how precious every moment is), she has two beautiful, healthy babies: a strong boy and a precious girl!
They're already up, wobbly and nursing like champs. BeBe is such a proud and attentive momma. 🍼❤️
Thankful for new life, even through the bittersweet moments. God is good.

Last week liberals had a melt down over a Confederate Flag flying proudly in the wind on Lake Norman and visible from I-77.
A couple of libs even called NC SHP and 911 to report the flag, then expressed outrage that the cops wouldn’t do anything.
I realize this is a shock to Yankee transplants and West Coasters.
But if you get off the interstates and drive across the Carolinas on secondary roads you’ll quickly realize these flags are pretty darn common.
Trust me no one’s going to steal your children or burn a cross in your front yard.
In the South people continue to fly the Confederate flag primarily as a symbol of Southern heritage, local pride, and regional identity, often honoring ancestors who fought in the Civil War. Others use it to represent rebellion, cherished rural lifestyle, or a desire for limited government.
But be warned it is also a flashing reminder that
FA/FO applies big time in rural Carolinas.
