Just waiting and biding my time until this cringe freak show is finally over.

Please please @RonDeSantis do NOT take Trumps AG position. Stay far away from that sh/t show!

Literally the worst idea in human history. Treachery, ingratitude and betrayal should never be rewarded

A packed house tonight in Hillsborough County. The momentum continues to build, proving that Florida is ready for change.

I am going to very strongly disagree with some of my friends and say that Ron DeSantis should not be the next attorney general. Recall what he said about the Stormy Daniels case, his weak objections to the lawfare against the president including raid of Mar-a-Lago, and, MORE IMPORTANTLY, his refusal to defend/protect his own constituents being tormented by the Biden FBI/DOJ in the J6 persecution. Florida had the greatest number of J6ers and DeSantis did nothing to help defend them. (And spare me the "he couldn't do anything, they were federal cases.) He refused to even meet with J6ers and their families. A big no from me.

Anyone pushing this shitbird for AG is getting unfollowed. We're not doing this again.

DeSantis played footsie with the lawfare against Trump rather than condemn it. On paper he would be an excellent AG. But this isn't a resume contest. We saw him talk like those cases against Trump might have merit. He's not the right person for the job.

‘DESANTIS MUST LEAD’: @BrendonLeslie urges @RonDeSantis to put ego aside and rally Florida Republicans for critical 2026 midterms and governor’s race “DeSantis built his entire platform on the backs of Florida’s Republican lawmakers... Yet instead of reciprocity, he enforces rigid loyalty tests. If a fellow Republican doesn’t align with him 100 percent, they’re dismissed as a RINO.” “The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally, not a 20 percent traitor.” — Ronald Reagan flvoicenews.com/brendon-leslie…

Chief Justice John Roberts on Birthright Citizenship: “You obviously put a lot of weight on 'subject to the jurisdiction thereof. But the examples you give to support that strike me as very quirky. You know, children of ambassadors, children of enemies during a hostile invasion, children on warships…” “And then you expand it to a whole class of, illegal aliens are here in the country. I'm not quite sure how you can get to that big group from such tiny and sort of idiosyncratic examples.” What a disgrace!

The existence of Delia Ramirez in Congress is why Birthright Citizenship must be ended. Delia Ramirez was born on American soil after her mother illegally crossed the U.S. border. She’s also married to a DACA recipient. Now she wants to end ICE and immigration enforcement.

Perhaps my favorite Supreme Court exchange in recent memory: Solicitor general: “It’s a new world." John Roberts: "It's a new world. It's the same Constitution." Into my veins 😌

Europeans are mishandling the Iran war on a monumental level. I don't know if it's fear of Iran's retaliation, payback for Trump's thuggery, reaction to the domestic political imperatives, or a combination of all of these. But denial of base/airspace use, to quote Talleyrand:

What the proper historiography should be is not necessarily what the Founders believed. Caesar was an epithet to the Founders. The best Anti-Federalist essays were written under the pseudonym Brutus. If Hamilton used “Caesar” instead of “Publius” in The Federalist essays the Constitution wouldn’t have been ratified. They didn’t see the late republic as healthy and acknowledged the decline due to corruption and the loss of civic virtue, but they imputed noble intentions to those opposing Caesar and believed their goal was to restore the republic to past glory. Rome was a cautionary tale about the fragility of republics, the need for civic virtue, and the susceptibility of republics to degenerate into tyranny.
