@eBay_UK trying to post q complaint for an item number and it says it needs to be 12 digits.
So I put in the 12 digit code and it won't work.

I have been trying to get in contact with customer services in order to do so (as the ID you asked for was rejected) but, guess what?
You require that I enter a verification number sent - guess where?
To my old number!

@eBay_UK You’ve charged me an insertion fee and a buy it now fee - But when I listed the item it clearly stated ‘List for Free’ now. Charged £14.99 for a BIN fee that disappeared the instant someone placed a bid! FB Marketplace seemingly like a better prospect! #Scamsters

@eBay_UK I wish you would fix your search system! This costs loss of sales you know!
Change best match to any of the others options and it automatically goes to no exact matches! From several hundred or thousands of listing sometimes to nothing not a single result!

@eBay_UK I bought a fake item from one of your sellers. He threatened to come to the delivery address. Your own team suspended him & promised me a £130 refund 4 times. Still nothing since February. I have screenshots of the threats & a call recording. Who can actually help me?

@AutoInfatuation @eBay_UK I once put up some of my ex-wife's Jewelry.
Someone bought some earrings, then claimed that they had to pay the postage when the item arrived, despite the fact that you need to pay full postage before you post ANYTHING unless it requires customs charges at the other end.

I’ve had my @eBay_UK account since 2012, 100% positive feedback. Always an honest buyer and seller for all sorts of things over the years.
Put a PC component up for sale the other day and a guy offers me my minimum within 3hrs, I agree to sell it and post it the same day as he seemed desperate.
I was crystal clear in my description that it was missing one of the original USB-C to USB-A cables as I lost it when I moved house and that a normal cable does the exact same job.
Guy messages me demanding I either partially refund him for the ‘Missing’ cable or ‘I can have it back’ once delivered.
I suggest he takes it up with eBay as he clearly didn’t read the advert. As you can see below he’s playing the buyer protection system and trying to extort money from me basically. He then puts in a return request for a reason that is completely null and void.
I ring eBay and they suggest I accept the return request despite me not being in the wrong, I tell them I will not pander to people like that who are playing the system and would sooner not use their platform anymore.
Now my account is under review and all payouts have been put on hold for at least 5 working days 😡
So fuck you @eBay_UK and your ridiculous system that always sides with the buyer regardless of what they say or how blatantly they abuse the system.

@AutoInfatuation @eBay_UK I don’t sell on eBay often at all. I was going to sell a generator on eBay recently, until I saw that I couldn’t ask for cash on collection. Ebay handles the transaction and charges the buyer for buyer protection. Took the listing down immediately. Never selling on eBay again

@AutoInfatuation @eBay_UK I used to use eBay regularly and then got clearly scammed buy a buyer, even though I had evidence, they sided with them. Never logged into it ever again.
