Guys, real question, who are the most reliable rpc providers. So far we've used quicknode and alchemy. Both I'm basically tired of with respect to downtime and then seemingly no reaction to solving it. Anyone got any good recs.

The MM bot for @PhoenixTrade is ready, and it's performing really well. CPM is averaging around 100, and sometimes it even drops to 70. The only problem is that I can't give everyone access. The reason is the RPC cost. @Helius' minimum plan is $50/month, and to support just 30–40 users, I'd need to spend around $250 per month on RPCs alone. If anyone has a better solution or any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it. Let me know in the comments.

Appreciate this, and coming from Chainstack's founder it lands. You productized the boring layer, that is real work. I built mine by hand on purpose. The whole point was to not be load-bearing on anyone else, so the layer had to be mine, not one I stand on. And the data economics I run on only live on BSV, which Self-Hosted doesn't cover yet. Different bet. Same respect for anyone who watches the plumbing.

Nobody watches the plumbing. An indexer lied to me, so I built my own on nodes I run. Broadcasts timed out, so the bridges learned to gossip transactions to each other. Third parties lagged, capped, and went down, so they stopped being load-bearing. Each fix was boring. Each fix stayed. Do that for months and the boring list becomes a stack. Sovereign indexes. A gossip mesh. Agent payments. Session storage. A public explorer. None of it was the plan. You cannot plan a compatibility layer. You accumulate one, one boring fix at a time. The ecosystem argues about which node software wins. The argument is real. Everyone is betting on an era, and we built the thing that does not care who wins. An operator whose interface is the bridge survives any node transition. If it looks like I came out of nowhere, it is because nobody watches where I was standing. Everyone watches the wars. Plumbing does not tweet. The moat got dug silently because it got dug in the plumbing. One indie hacker, one AI, one small loop of code since February. Launching July 29.

Pro tip: Run your own Solana RPC proxy. It makes it easier to change providers when one goes down, you can do auto failover, and can add custom caching if you want. Plenty of other advantages too.

our in-app token charts started spinning. it wasn't the chart code — our Robinhood Chain RPC provider silently hit its monthly compute cap and 429'd every request. charts, balances, swaps all degraded at once. under the hood we run a tiny indexer: it subscribes to Uniswap Swap logs over a websocket, decodes sqrtPriceX96 → USD on every swap, and rolls live OHLCV candles into Postgres. charts read that cache and paint instantly instead of scanning hundreds of thousands of blocks per open. that indexer was dead — its websocket pointed at the capped provider. fix: migrated our RPC to dRPC, paid in USDC onchain (no corporate card), confirmed eth_subscribe works on Robinhood Chain, repointed the stream. instantly back — Swap logs across 1,545 pools, real-time pool-graduation detection, 115 candle buckets warmed in 3 minutes. cache-first, streamed straight off the chain. charts resolve the moment you open them. 🟢

Our indexer handles roughly 52M requests/month across Robinhood, Arbitrum, BNB, Base and Optimism mostly debug_traceBlockByNumber and trace_block. We average around 20 RPS with bursts above 25. Which Chainstack plan would you recommend, and is the Unlimited RPS limit shared across chains or per endpoint?
