10 years ago, you would sit down and explain the entire argument for why the state of censorship in videogames is detrimental to any form of artistic expression, whether you personally like what is being censored or not.
You would argue that even small acts of censorship have an origin and a cause. They do not appear randomly. They come from a position of power, whether from company executives or the development team. Things that start small eventually grow bigger.
Then you realize they already know everything you know, and all they will do is personally attack you before the message spreads and people become conscious of the insidious reasons behind these changes and the amount of work put into them. They will always claim these changes are “unimportant,” yet they still care enough to implement them.
So all I need to say in 2026 is: fuck off. No more arguments about censorship. Simply go fuck yourself.

This artist lost his Gmail because of Google AI moderation system triggered false positive.
He tried to contact Anthropic support and they are unable help and he can’t cancel his Claude AI subscription without a gmail. Anthropic support is just AI canned replies with no human agents. They keep telling him “Just log in and cancel subscription” so he can’t access the gmail anymore.
This is completely unacceptable. Big AI companies for support are fully controlled by AI agents and not human agents because they will trap accounts to keep up paying subscription for exploitation if you lost email then you are trapped forever. It become a stuck in endless loops with no exit and escape.
We need real human support not AI and canned replies.

Any localization being pushed as an "improvement" is a major red flag which usually signals that the localizers went for an over-the-top approach that ultimately vandalizes & overwrites the original Japanese with their own obnoxious, quirky style. No one who actually enjoys Japanese media asks for this.
