Audio is another thing that takes up storage space but not nearly as badly as high resolution textures.

@oshillex Multiple reasons. Download speeds of most places games are sold. 1tb+ storage not being that uncommon. How a very large portion of players only playing a game or two (ie FIFA, cod, whatever).
I also miss the days of compression and optimization but companies are cheap and lazy
