🚨 LINDSEY GRAHAM CAUGHT VACATIONING AT DISNEY WORLD DURING GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN
While Washington failed… he was having breakfast with Mickey Mouse.
• Federal workers suddenly without pay
• TSA delays stacking up across the country
• Nationwide uncertainty unfolding in real time
And where is a sitting U.S. Senator?
At Disney World.
• Chef Mickey’s buffet inside the Contemporary Resort
• Disney characters walking table to table
• Reportedly seated in the back, away from attention
• Relaxing, chatting, enjoying the morning
According to TMZ, this all happened during the shutdown chaos.
Now connect this.
He says he “voted 7 times” to fund the government.
But the government still shut down.
Then he went to Disney World.
TMZ is now looking for more members of Congress vacationing while Americans go without pay.
This isn’t just one moment.
It’s a pattern people are starting to notice.
Is this incompetence… or do they just not care anymore?

@Milajoy She is by farrrrrrrrrr, the biggest disappointment of the Trump Administration!!!!!!!

@clmok2 @TheBabylonBee This is spot on!!! My heart is heavy with Leo's outrageous statement! It must be retracted!!!!!!!
English

@TheBabylonBee It hurts my heart to know that he either fully understands what he said and is intentionally furthering a globalist narrative, or he doesn’t and is unintentionally doing so.
Neither option is befitting a leader in the church of Jesus Christ.

@BasedMikeLee Two can play that game! Thune should have his nose rubbed in the mess he's made!

President Trump has the power to convene the Senate under Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution “on extraordinary Occasions.”
If a department with 260,000 employees (DHS) going unfunded isn’t an “extraordinary occasion”—especially while the Senate is out on a two-week recess during that shutdown with no plans to resolve the impasse beyond “we’ll deal with that in two weeks”—I don’t know what is.
Mike Lee@BasedMikeLee
Waiting for a deal to materialize with Chuck Schumer applies no pressure on Senate Democrats to fund DHS Interrupting their recess and forcing them to debate DHS funding on the Senate floor *would* apply pressure We can’t reward unprecedented obstruction with two-week recesses

@ScarletReeds Then he shouldn't have been involved at all. It looks bad on him!

Many are confused about Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) and the DHS funding vote.
Here's what actually happened:
Around 2 a.m. on March 27, the Senate passed the amended bill by voice vote, funding most of DHS (TSA, Coast Guard, FEMA, etc.) but stripping full funding for ICE and parts of CBP.
The five senators physically on the floor for the voice vote on the amended H.R. 7147 were:
John Thune (R-SD, Majority Leader)
Eric Schmitt (R-MO)
Bernie Moreno (R-OH, presiding officer)
Andy Kim (D-NJ)
And one Hawaii Democrat referred to in the record as "the Senator from Hawaii" — either Brian Schatz (D-HI) or Mazie Hirono (D-HI).
Why no objection from Schmitt?
The deal had already been "hotlined". Senate leadership checked with all 100 offices in advance. When no one objects to proceeding by unanimous consent/voice vote (standard at that hour to avoid a full session), it passes without debate or recorded roll call.
Objecting then would have just delayed everything further after weeks of failed cloture attempts (which require 60 votes for full funding).
Schmitt had pushed hard for full ICE/CBP funding in the days prior. Immediately after the voice vote passed, he sought unanimous consent for a separate bill to fully fund ICE and CBP.
Democrat Sen. Andy Kim objected.
Schmitt then stated that Republicans would pursue it via reconciliation—a simple majority process that avoids the filibuster.
Bottom line: Schmitt was on the floor fighting to protect border security funding, not to sabotage it.
It was too late to stop it anyway.
The low attendance and pre-cleared procedural move let Democrats force the carve-out. A classic Senate impasse tactic.
Fortunately, House Republicans rejected the weakened Senate version as a "joke" and passed a clean full-funding continuing resolution instead.
The real fight continues when the recess finishes on the second week of April.
If all of this feels complicated and unusual, that's because it is. That's not how the Senate operates most of the time.

@BasedMikeLee Clearly, Thune doesn't know how to negotiate!
Change LEADERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
English

@SenRonJohnson @LeaderJohnThune Ron, don't stick up for Thune!!!!
It's not a good look!
English

Democrats weren’t even negotiating until last week. Their lack of good faith left this as the only agreement @LeaderJohnThune could reach.
Democrats can obstruct with impunity because they’re aided and abetted by the legacy media that NEVER holds them accountable.
We need to rapidly move to a Reconciliation Appropriations Process to fund @DHSgov through FY2029, rendering Democrats irrelevant.
English

@ScottforFlorida Why are you blacking President Trump from making recess appointments????????????
Why aren't you telling Thune to knock off the bullshit?

🚨URGENT!
Pennsylvania elected a Democrat who campaigned as a Republican in Bucks County, PA.

He’s up in 2026 midterms!

Barrasso and Thune are the biggest traitors in the Senate.
Senator John Barrasso, as Senate Majority Whip, played a CENTRAL role in pushing through the partial DHS funding bill at 3 a.m. in a near-empty Senate chamber.
At 3 a.m., he declared 'Time is up' and helped push the partial bill through by voice vote in an empty chamber — funding everything except ICE/CBP enforcement.
No roll call. No accountability.
Schmitt tried to fix it immediately with a separate ICE bill. Democrats blocked it. This is how trust erodes. House is rejecting it. Time for real Senate leverage on deportations — not 3 a.m. carve-outs.
@SenJohnBarrasso explain the optics?

I said it late Thursday night right before the Senate left, and I’ll say it again: America cannot afford half measures on homeland security.
The threats are real. The mission is critical. Fully fund DHS. Pay TSA, CISA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. Support ICE and Border Patrol.
Democrats must end their political theater and put the safety of Americans first.

@HarmeetKDhillon How about you folks we hired to represent us figure out WHY?????
That's what we pay you for!

@ScottforFlorida The Democrats are making you all look STUPID!
