Long term plans don't work because life's chaotic and unpredictable. Learnt this the hard way. I'll give you a few examples from my personal experience First time I learnt this was in high school. My dad started having a random health issue and had to do some brain surgery. He survived but wasn't the same anymore. Happened out of a sudden and made me reconsider my plans and how I needed to operate now that I had to take care of my family. Then years later I remember being super focused on business while also being in a long term relationship. I was focused on building my webcam company so I didn't want to go out too much or entertain the girl I was with. My mindset was "Yeah i'll sacrifice now and have fun later". Out of a sudden, in a random day she comes home and says "I'm not okay mentally, I don't think this will work". This came as a surprise, we didn't have too many fights prior to this. Fast forward the next few months were shit, the girl was depressed because I was working non stop then we broke up despite being together for 6+ years. 8 years ago my webcam studio had all the rooms filled. Loads of models working, very good results. I was already daydreaming of how I'll have 1000 models at the same time 😁 Then one day my assistant comes to my crib, wakes me up and tells me that one of our employees from the staff, which I was paying very well, convinced all the girls working on the morning shift to leave with her because she opened a new studio. Had to reconsider everything and start from scratch, hire new models, organise things differently etc. Even 3 years ago, everything was going smoothly in every realm of my life. Then out of a sudden I get arrested and had to spend 2 years in jail / house arrest / with restrictions. It came as a surprise since I wasn't committing the crimes i've been accused of. I even remember the night before police stormed into my house I couldn't even sleep because I felt amazing and had a great vibe. THEN BOOM - had to accept the new reality and come up with solutions. I guess the lesson is that you need to become an adaptable person that's always ready for changes and that cannot be stopped by temporary setbacks. Having a long term vision can still be useful as a directional compass but be prepared for unexpected, fucked up situations. Namasteeeeeee

97% of the time if a girl brings up politics before you’ve even met, or on the first date, she’s liberal. My advice? Don’t debate her. Just laugh it off or nod your head. If she’s into you, she’ll care a lot more about how you treat her than winning a political argument. I’ve seen plenty of NYC “liberal” girls end up dating conservative guys. They will turn conservative over time.
