It is sad the extent to which human beings can go for social media views and clicks, sometimes outrightly endangering the lives of people they claim they love. Moreover the position he was staying during the surgery is exclusively the position of an anesthesiologist . The anesthesiologist must stay at the head of the patient throughout the surgery. This ensures that any abnormal lapse in consciousness is spotted immediately and flagged for emergency response. So many things could have gone wrong by him taking over the position of the anesthesiologist just for views, clicks and social media awwww The surgical team should be arrested. Cute Abiola himself should be arrested.

Akwa ibom needs to think deeper about opportunity costs, marginal benefits and comparative advantage. The state is not geographically or economically positioned to be an international hub, yet it's sunk significant amounts into a large international airport, most of which will lie dormant for ages. Well it's built now so the only way to get it going is to position Uyo as an idyllic getaway for the African middle class the same way Cancun was created. This will require a lot of real work beyond just pouring concrete, work our govt is traditionally poor at.
