This makes me PHYSICALLY SICK. At Columbia University there are 35,978 student enrolled. Out of those a whopping 20,321 are INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. American students at a American ivy league university are the MINORITY. Its no wonder Columbia has turned into JIHAD CENTRAL.

MIT’s class prez Megha Vemuri used her graduation speech to lash out at Israel. What does this kind of performative activism actually achieve, aside from launching yet another activism career built on commodifying tragedy? If these student activists are serious about making a real impact, they should step out of their elite bubbles, go to Gaza, and directly support the people they claim to stand with. Because sitting comfortably in the West, chanting "Free Palestine," won’t change a thing. Israel isn’t backing down just because university students keep screaming “apartheid” from safe distances.

Applauding an MIT graduation speech that accused Israel of genocide, called it an occupier, sought to delegitimize it and turn Americans against the Jewish State, all in front of a captive audience of students and their families, plumbs new depths to your abyss. The speaker had not a single word of empathy for the massacred of October 7th, not one denouncement of Hamas nor stated hopes for peace in the region. The operative phrases were “ceasefire”, “free Palestine”, “arms embargo” and references to divestment. Praising this speech is anti-Zionist @academic_la .
