The chiefs of both the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and National Union of Journalists (NUJ) have issued a joint-statement criticizing my arrest, the seizure of my equipment, and the use of anti-terror legislation against journalists. They have written to New Scotland Yard and demanded to meet with the head of counterterrorism. I am grateful to the @NUJofficial and @IFJGlobal and thank them for their support. This unprecedented use of Sec 12 has affected my ability to report and can only be seen as an affront on journalism.
