@cehoskinson @SusaninMa @floodveronica2 Yep. Exactly. Also, an incredible lack of self awareness that is likely from being in this “mean girl” world that is like a vacuum. No one has ever challenged their poor behavior.

@elilogan01 @SusaninMa @floodveronica2 She seemed upset that people she doesn't know are reacting to her poorly, yet that's how she reacts to them. She's not doing much to dispel the impression that she has a vendetta.

This story triggers me, but not in the way a lot of people understand it. You've got a veteran who did an important job in a shitty war, working partly in the shadows, who moves with his family to find peace and brings the dog that helps him find peace. And his neighbors decide they don't like him, or how he lives or the dog or whatever. The point is they've got him and his family under surveillance, watching everything they do, posting it on social media and filing police reports for every petty grievance. Realize here you're dealing not just with a war veteran and the potential for PTSD. You're also dealing with someone who did national security work, under a clearance, and you've got him under surveillance. That's a threat. I don't care why you're doing it. You're exposing personal details that bad people can exploit. This is unacceptable. I won't accept it. No one should accept it. I don't give a shit about your petty grievances. Mind your own damn business and stop it.

@cehoskinson @SusaninMa @floodveronica2 I too had an interaction with what was likely the same neighbor. She had zero personal experience with this dog but the vitriol was shocking. She was also shocked people were calling her on her BS. lol. Terrible person

I had an interaction with one of the neighbors where she was passing out personal information about the family. Yet it was a friend's dog, an unnamed jogger and someone else's kid who allegedly were harmed. She never claimed Lucy had affected her directly, and that made me very suspicious, especially with the doxxing.

It's my anniversary. Have I told everyone that I have an amazing wife? Ignore those that live to cause you anguish. Everything they touch turns to rot. Everything you touch, blooms. You leave beauty in your wake. Who walks with beauty has no need of fear. #SaveLucy

This isn't a post about Lucy. It's about my talented wife, Dolly. We've been married 12 years now and I still have no idea how a human voice can render such beauty. It has to be a reflection of the divine. facebook.com/share/v/1GoRkK… #SaveLucy 🙏

@BobLoblawSawAll @NatPoliceAssoc If true, I’m not sure you know how that phrase “at a minimum” actually works. I’d encourage you to spend more time studying the English language and perhaps a course in more effective communication. Likely though you’re just trying to walk things back after all the pushback.

We didn't get the result I had hoped for this morning, perhaps too optimistically. The legal system rarely moves quickly. We're not losing heart. In fact, we are gaining traction and momentum. Lucy, a dog born in some mudhole on the border between Jordan and Syria, is trending on X 👇. It is entirely possible that @elonmusk has read her story. More exposure is coming. My wife (@Herb_Minstrel, she's new to X) and I are working on something. Details to come later. Things are gaining traction. We fight on. We'll get you home, sweet girl. Aslan is on the move. #SaveLucy @LoneStarChica

@kwfricke @LoewyLawFirm Yeah. I think the legislature had the best intentions but didn’t realize the issues with running fiber in rural areas and didn’t take things like Starlink into account. There needs to be an amendment clearly but not sure how easy that will be.

My friends at Austin Sunshine Camps sent an email saying they are unable to comply with the broadband internet service requirement now required by state law. Most rural camps will not be able to comply. Seems this law was rushed thru post Mystic - May 2, 2026 Dear Austin Sunshine Camps Stakeholders, As we are preparing to once again welcome campers for the upcoming summer, we want to share an important update with you. A recently enacted Texas law requires licensed summer camps to maintain broadband fiber internet service on their property. As the law is written, camps that cannot meet this specific connectivity standard are considered out of compliance, even if they already have strong safety systems and reliable emergency communications in place. The intent behind this law is to protect children, and that intent is one we share completely. The safety and well-being of our campers is always at the heart of everything we do. The challenge is that many camps across rural Texas, including our Lake Travis Camp location, simply do not have access to broadband fiber infrastructure. In those locations, this requirement cannot be met because the infrastructure does not yet exist. As a result, camps that are otherwise well-staffed, well-prepared, and deeply committed to safety are facing an implementation challenge in areas where infrastructure is not yet available. This has nothing to do with unwillingness or delay. The required infrastructure has simply not been built in many rural communities. There are proven and reliable ways to maintain strong internet access and emergency communications at camp today, including satellite service, cellular systems, and layered backup tools.  Our Lake Travis Camp currently has internet service through Starlink and T-Mobile, as well as cell phone service.  These systems are used every day by hospitals, schools, churches, ranches, and first responders in communities like ours. While they support the same safety goals, they are not currently permitted as alternatives under the statute.   Because of this, nearly twenty Texas summer camps, including ours, are working together to seek temporary relief while a practical and reasonable solution is considered. Our goal is simple. We want to align with the intent of the law, ensure camper safety, and continue operating within the realities of rural Texas. At this time, we are planning for a full summer season. Staff is being hired and trained. Cabins are being prepared. Programs are moving forward with care and excitement. If anything changes, you will hear directly from us, promptly and clearly. For stakeholders who feel compelled, you can help by reaching out to our representatives about this matter and sharing what camp means to you.   • State Representatives: Vikki Goodwin, Email Form and Ellen Troxclair, Email Form • State Senators: Sarah Eckhardt, Email Form and Donna Campbell, Email Form • Or, look up who represents you here. Personal stories help others understand the role camp plays in building confidence, friendships, resilience, independence, and a lifelong connection to the outdoors. For generations, Texas families have trusted camps like ours with what matters most, their children. We take that responsibility seriously and remain committed to transparency, safety, and doing everything possible to welcome campers this summer. Thank you for your understanding and your continued trust. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. With gratitude, Erica Blue Chief Executive Officer Austin Sunshine Camps

@kwfricke @LoewyLawFirm Unfortunately not with the way the current law is written. I’m on the board of a similar camp and we have implemented Starlink. The law at this point still requires fiber even in the presence of Starlink.

@amuse @LoewyLawFirm @HortonHearsTx I’m on the board of a similar camp. We have put in Starlink which is actually better in some cases but unfortunately the way the law is written it’s not good enough.

@tabascokidd81 @broadwaybabyto @AzPittsburgh Why are we even arguing with someone from Canada on this? Just block and move on so she gets less views and interaction. You literally cannot fix this mentality.

@broadwaybabyto @AzPittsburgh Could it be that your comprehension and opinion just doesn't line up with the factual evidence that was presented, leading to him not being charged? Do you not know the difference between murder and killing in self defense when a woman tries to run you over?

He murdered Renee Nicole Good. Shot her three times and then called her a “f*cking b*tch”. Her last words? “It’s ok dude I’m not mad”. He got three days administrative leave before being transferred to another state. No punishment. No accountability. No justice.

Imagine being reduced to the world’s biggest punchline by the most powerful man on Earth! while your wife is treated with total silence, not even worthy of mentioning her name. That’s what President Trump served up today. He didn’t just sideline Meghan Markle; he erased her, exposing her desperate relevance-seeking for the hollow, self-important farce it always was.

@krisinhawaii @ViQueenie Honest question here, why do you give someone else such incredible power over your emotions? It’s so bizarre to me that people allow Trump to trigger them so much. Also, may want to look up the definition of majority and then compare that to the election results.

The issue here is they had 6 and 7 year old children sleeping in those cabins with the instructions don’t leave no matter what while the camp had absolutely no flooding emergency plan in place. That area similarly flooded before. How leadership didn’t have a plan in place is mind baffling.

NEW: Attorney for Camp Mystic accused of telling the attorneys for 8-year-old Cile Steward, whose body has still not been found, that they were "gonna burn in hell." Camp Mystic is the Texas camp where 27 people, including 25 children, died during a flood last summer. "When we were done yesterday… I asked [Camp Mystic attorney] Mr. Ray, I walked over and I said, 'You know maybe before you talk about the integrity of me and my team, maybe you just ought to ask us about the facts,'" Beckworth said. Beckworth said this is the moment when attorney Thomas Wright jumped in. "[Wright] said, ‘You’re gonna burn in hell,' and then he told [fellow attorney Christina] Yarnell, 'You’re gonna burn in hell.'" Beckworth said. Wright Close Barger & Guzman law firm has since released a statement following the incident: "After a long day in court, my emotions were running high, and I let them get the best of me. For that I sincerely apologize to both attorneys, to the court and to all involved. I do not wish to cause any distractions during this trial or any distress to the family of Cile Steward or any of the families of Camp Mystic."
