@GuyDealership I thought the Feds were looking into allowing some of the lower cost JDM vehicles to be imported.
I believe the mfgs need to start looking at de-contenting vehicles, or just lower end vehicles.

The dealers we speak with have 1 top concern:
Above regulation.
Above China.
Above EV transition, DTC, Carvana, blah blah blah…
The concern is affordability.
We just ran a dealer temp check survey and it confirmed this as well.
Scary times.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune just admitted Republicans don't have the 60 votes to pass the SAVE America Act — the bill that requires proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote and photo ID to cast a ballot.
This is basic election integrity. It’s overwhelmingly popular. It passed the House. And Thune’s response? More speeches and surrender.
Where’s the leadership, Senator?! We’re outraged!
You control the Senate, for God’s sake. Force the vote!
Make Democrats own their filibuster against citizenship verification!
Change the rules if you have to!

Saw a post on the local Nextdoor. There were a few does at a women’s sliding class door waiting for some goodies. My wife said there was a doe on our deck at the backdoor.
Don’t get too close, the hooves are sharp. I live new Yosemite NP. People do get killed by deer,a hoof to the head or getting antlered.

All this is just another indictment of special interests overriding the health of American citizens. And Congress simply takes the money and stands against the health of American citizens.
We have seen increases with chronic health issues, however removing the additive chemicals from our food supply is discouraged.

As to the data collection, it is unfortunately widespread. Your phone, your PC, your smart TV. Flock license plate readers. It goes on and on.

I just ran into this in California. Are you aware that car companies are collecting your driving data and selling it? That includes data about where you go and how you drive!
People assume they fully own their car after buying it, I did, but modern vehicles are collecting data about where you go, how you drive, & your daily habits. Some companies are even selling info without your knowledge. Americans deserve more control over their data.

On page twenty-six of “The Billionaire Tax” proposal in California, it explains how the state legislature can convert from a Billionaire Tax to an Everyone Tax without voter approval. They can also adjust the tax to be a yearly tax, not just one time…again, without your approval. Intelligence test for you: if this was meant to just target Billionaires, why did they write this in?
