@DuckieLouise @mothertide I like a silk pillowcase & a high pineapple with a soft scrunchy! My mom never managed to brush my hair except comb through it with a wide tooth comb when it was damp & had some conditioner. For the pool we just did a tight ponytail.

@mothertide Hmmm I always braid, but perhaps for nighttime you could set her up with a silk pillowcase and just brush it out with a leave-in conditioner before bed?
For water play, maybe one of those hairy styles that’s hair tie heavy like this?

@DietCoke_Esq I was appalled when I learned from my fiancé how he sees women’s hair & sees the new growth from the roots. He calls it “cabbage patch hair.” Also learned he can basically see down everyone’s shirts & most push-up bras cause a gap between the bra & your chest. Horrifying.

@_imperfectfaith I told a very small number of people (immediate family & 1-2 friends) the truth and I asked them to fill others in as necessary. When someone asked me questions, I would direct them to one of those people. It helped a lot.

I am 27 and the eldest daughter of four. We had a fine and normal childhood. Myself and sister had our own bedrooms and the two boys in between us shared. The extent of my responsibility as the oldest was to drive one or two of them to school for ~a year once I got my license. Can’t remember ever being in charge of much else, with regard to childcare.
I want at least five of my own.
