@manishasinghal @ramdevkar07 LOL at the pearl clutching. This was the real Hinduism that I knew and loved - diverse and embracing all aspects of human experience; not the temple you built on a mosque and on the blood and bones of innocents.

@extramuros_pete @BenBajarin Though it needs Smart SSDs and MRAMs for storage. Would be interesting to know how $MU tries to supply the robotics market without having to cannibalize it for the Datacenter market.

This is contrary to the many decades of history of memory pricing: every increase in demand is more than offset by technological innovations lowering the price per kb (then mb, then gb, now tb). Only case for permanently higher prices is if technological innovations plateau (which they might) while demand rises (which it will)

@BenBajarin @extramuros_pete When it comes to physical AI it's more bandwidth and latency bound rather than capacity bound. Micro or Small LLMs trained for edge/temporal ai shall be deployed there. I love your podcast and would love to see Sanjay on to know more on the latest tech they're working on.

@extramuros_pete too much memory because of AI now embedded in what is a new floor for the semis industry as a whole. And robotics will require a lot of memory.

Having an #AI chat on an Artix7 #FPGA? Here you will find out how I did it!

@benitoz If you want this can still be physically conceivable. Take a look at @tinytapeout. Though not such a high performance memory but a few bytes that could fit onto a 0.16sqmm die. It could then get packaged into a 9mm x 9mm package which could go into a necklace. Happy mother's day.

@DudeWhoInvests Can't talk for SanDisk. It's a no-brainer for Micron. It's not insane is the whole point.

@VanquishTrader Wild $MU might become a $1T company this year

@JustinLDallas I use teroshdl extension in vscode. It has got a schematic viewer and it can recognize a state machine in your RTL and gives a visual representation.

@R_and_Invest You don't have to know. It also means they're 100% bullish.

@beaversteever You look at it's pe ratios, shows how senseless the market is.

$AMD with great earnings, beating EPS, revenue and guidance, congrats to the holders!
Lisa Su confirms what has been suspected by many; AI inference and agents is gaining momentum and therefore CPU demand is rising.
This is also very bullish for memory, as the shift towards AI inference and agents drives up demand for memory.
We cannot be bullish enough on memory!

$AMD CEO Lisa Su just said: "We delivered an outstanding first quarter, driven by accelerating demand for AI infrastructure, with Data Center now the primary driver of our revenue and earnings growth" "We are seeing strong momentum as inferencing and agentic AI drive increasing demand for high-performance CPUs and accelerators. Looking ahead, we expect server growth to accelerate meaningfully as we scale supply to meet demand. Customer engagement around MI450 Series and Helios is strengthening, with leading customer forecasts exceeding our initial expectations and a growing pipeline of large-scale deployments providing us with increasing visibility into our growth trajectory."
