Every IC function is turning into a managerial function. It's just that we're all managing agents and not humans anymore.

@Appyg99 I’m skeptical that the majority really want to have to ask a question everytime they have a new task that the AI hasn’t given them a UI for yet

@mds How would you send this animation over from Figma over to AI to get it built as you’ve intended?

I love building with AI but it still takes slow careful work to achieve really nice results. Which is why I still like prototyping with Figma smart animate sometimes.

@rabi_guha Does this assume most users know what they want and how to ask for it?

notice something? Linear, PostHog, Attio - all shipped the same thing in the last few weeks. Homepage is a chat bar - not a dashboard. This is the SaaS industry quietly admitting that traditional UI doesn't work anymore. Every user is different. One homepage can't serve them all. The playbook is shifting: → expose your core APIs → connect an agentic layer → let users use software the way they want SaaS became chat. Chat will become Generative UI - the agent won't just reply in text, it will compose the interface itself. We're closer than people think.

Vibecoding with my daughter last weekend turned into an actual launched app. Zero prior plan other than she wanted to know if “Little Mix” will ever tour again 🤷 touralert.io … follow tour rumors for your favorite artists. I haven’t written frontend code in 5 years and it’s so exciting to actually build something again. I’m all in on AI design tools. Slightly terrifying, mostly exciting.

I’m thrilled to announce we’ve raised $44M to build a new home for product design. Meet @noondesign. No workflow is more broken and fragmented in 2026 than the product designers’. The very same people who care most about building software don’t have software purpose built for them. @kushagrasinha7 and I have lived this problem first hand as designers ourselves. That’s why we built Noon. The first product design tool that works entirely on your product code, so you can design not only how a product looks, but also how it works. With AI at its core that works in seconds, not minutes. For the first time, you can create, iterate, build, test and ship. All in one canvas. No translations or roundtrips to the codebase and back. Comment “Get Noon” and we’ll get you on the list for early access.

For practice, I’ve tried to re-create some Mobbin desktop screens in Figma. From what I can tell they’ve all been screenshotted at 150% zoom in browser, so they’re all too large. Anyone else notice this?

This is crazy, this recent introduction of ridiculously low rate limits has basically rendered Claude Code useless to me. They really need to change this or I'm going to cancel all of my accounts soon. It kicks in with like 3 or 4 agents going at once.

@BenjaminDEKR No, the whole design needs to refactored. I’m not talking the UI. I’m talking the product design. X is still an old post and reply platform. It’s very linear. That’s not how a town square works.

Now you can use AI agents to design directly on the Figma canvas, with our new use_figma MCP tool and skills to teach them. Open beta starts today.

One thing we saw early with Stitch: people would generate a design, then leave. This seems common with a lot of “vibe” tools. With design.md, the SDK, and MCP, Stitch behaves less like a tool you visit and more like something that stays in your workflow. A collaborator, not a destination.
Kath Korevec@simpsoka

Lots of fun packed into today's Stitch update. One of my favorites is design.md. It gives me some more control and precision.
