If I had to lose 25 pounds by June, here is the exact, 13 step blueprint I would use to do it... (bookmark this post for reference) 1. Stop drinking alcohol entirely - go straight edge until you are a full 40 pounds down (the best thing you can do for your fat loss + your health in general). 2. Get 7-8 hours of sleep per night - non negotiable. 3. Skip breakfast and drink water or coffee only (simple way to save calories) 4. Eat 2 meals per day, one at noon and one at 6-7 pm 5. Eat 100 grams of animal protein per meal from a lean(ish) source (chicken, 90/10 ground beef, seafood, etc) 6. Eat veggies at every meal for fiber/more volume 7. Eliminate snacking completely - zero snacks, period. 8. Eat 1 serving of starchy carbs before training, and 1 serving after training - other than that, no carbs other than veggies. 9. Never drink a calorie. No shakes, no sugary soda/pop, no juice, nothing. 10. Strength train 3-4 times per week, full body (each workout should be 45-60 minutes; workouts tracked, try to get stronger each session.) 11. Get a minimum 30 minute walk in each day. (This should bump your steps up to 6-8k+ per day) 12. Take waist measurements weekly, and scale weight daily (studies show this accountability step is crucial) 13. Unlimited diet/zero calorie drinks - use the fizz and carbonation strategically to fill up your stomach And finally, a Bonus Tip: 14. Do not deviate from this plan. You will think you need to speed things up, cut calories further, do super long fasts, etc. You do not need to do anything other than what you see here. Do not get "shiny object syndrome" and try something new 3 days into it. Have patience and stick to the plan. The biggest reason you don't get results is your consistency in following a good plan - and now you have one. If you follow these steps every single day, by June/July, I would be shocked if you weren't down a solid 20+ pounds. ==== I don't do this often, but I'm opening up 4 spaces in our 1:1 coaching program to work directly with me (not my assistants).
