I don't think Senate Republicans grasp what will happen if they do not pass the SAVE Act. To the people who put Republicans in power, integrity in our elections is the NUMBER ONE issue they care about. If the GOP fails in this, literally half of their voters will walk away. They won't become Democrats, they'll just withdraw from public involvement, stop voting and start hoarding canned food and ammunition. If the GOP fails to pass the SAVE Act, the BEST CASE scenario for the GOP is that we go back to the 1960s where the Democrats had overwhelming control of both Houses and the Presidency. Worst case? The GOP goes the way of the Whigs, the entire conservative right descends into fractured, ineffective factions and the Democrats gain multi-generational control like has never before been seen in the USA. GOP, failing to pass the SAVE Act will destroy your party. And it will destroy the USA. Choose wisely.

Under Logue, the Ohio EPA has proposed a new general permit that would allow data centers to discharge their wastewater and "OTHER WATERS" directly into state waterways, including Lake Erie and the Ohio River. This proposal is to fast-track data center construction by simplifying the permitting process for their massive water discharge needs. What's in the water? Biocides, corrosion inhibitors, phosphates, antifreeze, heavy metals, pfas plastics, and thermal pollution for super heated water disrupting the O2 in the ecosystems causing die off. Logue claims he's under public and federal pressure, and claims the move "cuts red tape" for business, environmental groups and some federal frameworks. Innocent enough? Since some insist on making everything about race, let’s be clear: Obama did nothing meaningful for Black people. Nothing. Foreign partners deal with us differently now. Having worked for a few presidents, and seeing the road show, and how we’re treated, this time is different. You’ll see some performative objections to the President’s style but, in the end, they know he’s right in his end game. He has a discursive speaking style, and he’s a hardball negotiator with no time for niceties, but when you see him operate up close, it all makes sense. Few people in politics can close a deal like President Trump. And if the President closes on a Greenland deal, watch all the doomers pretend they were behind him the entire time.
