And UHC, United healthcare of Luigi fame, has proven that that's already happening.
Part of the issues that people were having is that they replaced an entire section of people who approved treatments with an AI algorithm. And it was erroneously disapproving 97% of claims, focusing particularly on older people.
Many times, those people were in fragile enough condition that they didn't have enough time or the energy or the resources to be able to dispute the claim.
Which of course, was probably the point.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 SpaceX raised Starlink costs for U.S. LUCAS attack drones during the Iran war from about $5,000 to $25,000 per terminal per month, and the Pentagon eventually agreed, Reuters reports. Officials also sparred over pricing for Starlink cell service for Iranian civilians amid web blackouts.
A CSIS expert interviewed by Reuters for their piece said there was not a lot the government could do but agree, SpaceX ha: them “over a barrel.”

Russia expands GPS spoofing in Europe, with NATO countries' navigation under attack.
Russia is capable of jamming and replacing GPS signals up to a depth of 450 km in Europe - particularly over the territories of Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, Sweden, writes Reuters.
According to the head of Lithuania's communications regulator Darius Kuliesius, Russia has significantly increased its infrastructure for GPS spoofing - a technology that not only blocks the signal but also replaces it with false coordinates, disorienting navigation systems.
If at the beginning of 2025, only 3 such antennas were recorded in Russia, thennow there are already 36. All of them are located in the Kaliningrad region - between Lithuania and Poland.
Because of this, communication and navigation disruptions are being recorded in the border regions of Lithuania. In particular, in the city of Klaipeda, which is located about 50 km from Kaliningrad, disruptions even affect the operation of digital services - including online public transport schedules.
Such actions are an element of hybrid pressure and pose risks to civilian infrastructure, aviation, and maritime navigation in the region.
