@noio_games @OskSta What if you start with the intersections (generate the connection points for roads) and then generate roads in between those to connect them? Then you could make sure they land where there is no terrain collision and specify how many connections and to which other intersections

was hoping i could get away with a few fixed 90° intersection models but the road generator is coming up with these so i might have to procedurally generate geometry for the intersections. i don't want to tho, i just want some fun roads to bum around on, not make SimCity

I've thought a lot about it (since, yea know, I teach) and I have no solutions that young ppl could stomach (read '00s white papers)

Listening to #ThePhoenixProject by @RealGeneKim…it’s been 10 years since this DevOps novel came out. As an industry, we are all still complaining to each other about the same issues and are still trying to solve the same problems

@erikveld @dutchiechris I could print the fitting, but wiring it will suck. Normally they are only about 0.30c each, not worth the trouble. Though i was tempted when i learned Hornbach (which i normally love) is charging 2.85 per fitting... Are they gold plated?!?

Phooey. The old fittings don't take modern GU10 bulbs... And in an uncharacteristic "anti-packrat" fit, i think i threw out the spare GU10 fittings left over after my renovation Project stalled for the night. @dutchiechris this is why we NEVER throw anything out, right?

@mrdowden In many european countries google maps is quite good with public transit schedules, platforms, line numbers, etc . So a good fallback in case you dont know the local transit app
