@msedov I've been trying to play with nodes but can't work out how to render them in Octane :( Multi-instance rendering seems to break it.

Just tried to play with c4d native particles and nodes. There are a lot of limitations but it is what it is. Sorry for compression 🙃

@motionpunk1 Having 64gb available is definitely a big win. What card would you compare the speed to? 2080?

I happened to work on macs recently just to realise that they share vram! So on m1 max in octane i have 64gb of vram which is nuts. It does not render fast, but the example below demonstrates whats possible when vram is available.

@anthonyjboydii @motionpunk1 We are in a state of incremental improvements. M2 was ~20% better than M1. I'd expect similar or less improvement to M3 from M2.

@rogie @figma Click-and-hold-spacebar while you drag a layer “locks” it in the hierarchy. Very important if you use frames or auto-layout since dragging over those can make your mid-drag layer “pop” inside of those (e.g. tries to insert itself between stacked items in AL)
