In almost 99% of cases, ordinary litigants approaching the Supreme Court directly are asked: “Why did you come here directly?” But here, because certain media personalities sensationalised the matter, ran debates, created TRPs, and built public pressure, the judiciary too appears eager to step in and gain visibility from it. And mind it — more than 92,000 cases are already pending before the Supreme Court, while the Court is itself about to go into its 1.5 months vacation period on next some days. Is justice now based on legal principles and due process, or on media attention and public spectacle?

Minimum wages of Rs 20,000, safe environment for women and regulated working hours are the bare minimum that should be given to workers. The demands of Noida protestors is legitimate. Their arson, however, is criminal and unacceptable.

@rohini_sgh Kindly xplain me the math of giving 20,000 p.m to a complete unskilled person, that too till 5p.m duty. Factory runs till 7p.m in the eve, that means 2hrs extra wage every day, co sidering 25working days,it sums upto 50hrs a month extra wage adding to 20k for that utter unskilled
