@Experian Victim of Identity theft. I can not create an Experian account which is necessary to freeze my credit. I have tried every phone number I can find online. Each one sends me to a bot that hangs up on me. This has to be illegal.

@Experian @Equifax @TransUnion I hope thousands read this. I closed a furniture store credit account with @synchrony that I haven’t used in over 2 years and my credit score dropped over 35 points immediately. What kind of system PUNISHES you for being a responsible adult. @CNN

As you indicated, you paid off a loan in full, and this is one of the reasons mentioned earlier that affect the score. Credit scores are calculated based on the information in your credit report. Please note that credit scores can vary depending on the scoring model used (examples: FICO® or Vantage Score®). Additionally, credit scores can vary based on which credit reporting agency supplied the report.  The score is based on your report and creditors are not required to report to all credit bureaus. The three major consumer credit reporting agencies in the U.S. are Experian®, TransUnion® and Equifax®. Experian memberships utilize Experian credit reports and the FICO® Score 8 model.  The primary factors that determine a person’s FICO® credit score are:  35% based on payment history  30% based on amount of credit utilization  15% based on the length of your credit history  10% based on hard credit inquiries  10% based on types of credit (revolving, installment, etc.)  You may learn more about credit at experian.com/blogs/ask-expe… . -Karen

@Experian So my Credit Rating dropped below 800 today on Experian, reason “Lack of non mortgage installment loans” Yet on Equifax & TransUnion I am well above 800! (825/829) @Experian_US Your Algorithms SUCK!!! So from now on I will be using the other 2 credit agencies.
