@BunAndLeggings I missed when my kiddos started buying lunch bc I couldn’t write the notes anymore. I missed some days for sure, but my best trick was keeping a kids’ joke book in my kitchen drawer, they loved when I sent jokes in to share at lunch. ❤️

I used to write little note for my kids and send them with their lunch. I stopped. Idk why I felt the need to send them a note. At dinner, my 12yo was talking about how she didn't have the best morning. She looked like she was trying not to get teary eyes, "then I saw your note"

@clhubes TJ MAXX/HomeGoods was the first big store I went to after everything opened up after Covid. The sheer happiness I felt just walking around touching blankets and sweaters, looking at bad artwork, toilet brush holders and bottles of vanilla extract was simply unmatched.

Waiting in line forever, as I always have to do at this lousy, national-chain drugstore, to get my COVID booster. I’m so lucky to live in NYC, where we still have small, family-owned, neighborhood pharmacies; I NEVER give my $ to the chains. But the locals don’t vax, so…

I got home with my son. We noticed that my husband had the crockpot going. I didn't know he had dinner covered. My son, "Oh yeah, I saw him looking up new recipes for you. Dad loves you!"
